- In the East Sierras is this tiny little birding village nestled in the mountains. Here people enjoy a huge diversity of high alpine birds and lower down in the valley Owls and Nighthawks. Join me in this adventure to the small town and trying to capture these birds.

Wow, such a beautiful location. It's nice to see areas where people still respect the wildlife. Great video!
Agreed! It was such a refreshing breath of air there :)
Luck is a very important part of birding. Loved seeing the owls.
Hey Jeremy, this is Lance from Germany...Incredible video. What an experience that was. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. AMAZING
Thank you!! Glad it was a good experience ☺️🙌🏻
CatsFromTheDarkside here from England. I loved your video, very inspiring. I take videos in my back garden of birds and squirrels, yours are a whole new level!
Thank you! Trying to do my best ☺️
I believe thats a dougless' squirrel! I usually tell by the striking colors on them :)
i meant douglas*
They are gorgeous! ☺️
Douglas squirrel, see those all around in Tahoe! They’re quite bold!
Super cool! Thanks!
Gorgeous,gorgeous,gorgeous. Thanks
Thank u❤
.)
Thank you so much for this video. I have been hoping someone would do a video of Northern California. I live about 300 miles below.
In wine country.
Petaluma CA.
Sonoma county. We have two pretty good waterways to birds watch.
Hope to see more.
So cool! Glad you enjoyed it so much ☺️ California is a beautiful state
@@JeremyNeipp It is and so much to see. Hoping you'll be back.
Another great video! Also shoutout to your videographer, they get some amazing compositions of you behind the scenes that provide great context!
100%! I have two people who do it, this one was my wife. She did a fantastic job especially with that Nutcracker scene 😍
How beautiful!!!! Love your wildlife cinematography!!
Thank you so much! ☺️
@@JeremyNeipp You are most welcome!!
Love your video! Birding is the best!!
Thank you! ☺️
I agree, birding is the best
Oh, to be young again!
I'm a huge fan of owls and am slightly jealous of your good luck :). Nevertheless, I really enjoyed your photo of the adult and juvenile Clark's Nutcrackers, which was evocative. Thanks for sharing.
Haha it was a cool surprise! The Clark’s Nutcrackers were so cool to see interact as well

Nice adventure in wildlife monitoring
Thank you!
Ha, those nuthatch birds are something else, photographed a few of them at a park in florida
They are hilarious!
Great video thank you. Just wondering, what hat are you wearing in this video?
Thank you! it’s my own brand of hat 😎
Impressive work by your cameraman too!
100%!
Nice pictures and video of the nighthawks. They are difficult to capture as quick as they are. Big mouths but comically small beaks. Thanks for sharing
It was a struggle! Wish I could have gotten even better but wasn't too bad haha.
Great video Jeremy! 👌
Thank you! ☺️
Really good video. I am pretty sure that was a Douglas Squirrel, but not sure if there are separate sub species for that area of the country. Cute little guys for sure
Yea that’s the same feedback on species I got from someone else, thanks for sharing that!
Have you ever been to Madera Canyon or Ramsey Canyon? Or the Boyce Thompson Arboretum? Those places are amazing for birding.
I haven’t! Never gotten to do birding in Arizona yet. Would love to someday as I know it’s amazing there ☺️
Nice! Video man!
Thank you!
Awesome video
Very interesting place to visit. I put it on my 2c list 😊
It's an amazing spot 😍
Great video!👍
Thank you!
Hey Jeremy, this is Lance from Germany...Incredible video. What an experience that was. Thank you so much for taking us along with you. AMAZING
Thanks Lance!! It's such a cool place I could have spent much longer there :)
What camera were you using here? It's hard to tell, though I know you've had the G9 ii on hand lately. It looks so similar to Panasonic's FF cameras that I can't quite make out what it is. Great video, also. I love the wilderness. It's so refreshing to get out away from everything.
Thank you! Yes it was a Panasonic FF you’re correct 👌 S1R
Nice shots! Just wondering, I'm aware you are a manual focus type guy but when you are snapping photos of the nighthawks in flight do you still use manual focus?
Would depend on the camera more now a days with some of the newest models being pretty good, but in this situation yes, I shot everything in this video manual focus ☺️
What is a clerk ( bird) in this video?
Clark’s Nutcracker!
pine squirrel
Very nice, did you say Aspendell ?
Yes I did! Beautiful town
@@JeremyNeipp tnx cause I was checking it in google maps and it didn't look like the video esp that creek/river you were walking by seems to have some field/open spaces as a background and it doesn't look like that on the map !?
@@dimitristsagdis7340 probably was a different spot along the River, the part you see in the video is directly in the center of the little town :)
@@JeremyNeipp tnx
Problem I have is do I take video or photos. I am only one person with one camera.
Great videos. Background music not necessary. Annoying actually. Great channel!
Thank you! I won't be removing the music totally in any foreseeable future, most people really enjoy how it compliments the story.
what is the name of this place?
Aspendell
😭😭😭
how is whatever you have videoing getting better shots than your photos?
Lots of birds commit suicide because they have reborn human in them, and birds work for the police they catch lots of crooks there great at getting number plates😮🎉
Huh?
Sir,Please gift me a second camera.I live in Bangladesh.please sir🙏🥺My dream is to do wildlife photography but I don't have a camera and can't afford to buy one..🙁🙁Please gift me a camera,in my home in Bangladesh😔🙏🙏
Douglas squirrel, see those all around in Tahoe! They’re quite bold!
They are beautiful squirrels!
I believe thats a dougless' squirrel! I usually tell by the striking colors on them :)
They are stunning! :)
You mean America's Nerdwatching Village. Birders are the WORST.
Very cool dude
