The maximum age to join the Royal Marines is 32-33ish, but tbh, would you recommend someone (single/no kids) aged 30+ do it? I'd hazard a guess it's rare. And if they do get in, how do they fare?
As long as your back up doesn't require a whole different set of skills you have to work on. If your back up is say, police officer, prison officer, fireman etc then effectively your training for the marines will fall into place with them
Honestly the biggest holdup for me is lack of faith in our government, not a fan of how they've been acting No disrespect for the troops, joining the forces after my apprenticeship would be a no-brainer otherwise
my plan is to go to Harrogate army college to become a royal anglian, after the 4 year contract im gonna join the royal marines then hopefully joins the SBS
@@CompleteCommando Hi mate, Im not really sure because joining the marines at 16 would be way harder than joining at 20 and if I join the army at 16 I will have experience and knowledge while joining the marines. But I would really like to know what you would do in this situation thank you for your reply
@@coconut5925 If you join the army at 16 then move over to RM you will be starting at the bottom of the pile again. You’ll also be learning very different drills and habits in RM compared to army so you’ll have to relearn a lot of different things. I would say choose one service and stick with it. Maybe join reserves at 16 then go full time when you’re older?

Great video yet again…❤
Thanks mate
@@CompleteCommando no problem, every video makes me want to join the marines even more 😊
@@D3str0yz_ great to hear mate
Do you believe someone who’s wants to join the Marines should have a backup plan in case they don’t get accepted for a green burry?
Ofc man u don't wanna end up having to settle for a dead end job

In my opinion if you are young 18-20 join the Marines then join the Army and by age 28 you can go Green Beret.

You arent a robot when you become a soldier you can still make ethical decisions on the ground
