Just tried my P365 yesterday. I ran 200 rounds of Winchester White Box 115 FMJ and 25 rounds of Hornady HP/XTP 115 grain. No malfunctions. Prior to range time I cleaned and lubed the P365. Waiting on an order of Speer Gold Dot 124 grain to arrive for reliability and function test. I used the 10 round mag with pinky extension and 12 round mags. Both mags I have good feel and control. Of course I'll fire it more to be better acclimated with it. I can easily see so far to rotate it in my EDC. The manufacturer date is 4/01/20.
I didn't think it would happen cause im a Glock guy. I picked up a sig p365 born on date was 1-30-19. It has quickly become my edc. I actually like to carry compact size handguns. Glock 19 cz p10c. Got about 800 rounds through it. Two stove pipe malfunctions. I used fmj as well as hollow points. Very consealable good shooter, i like the night sights and the trigger is sweet. It does have two questionable drawbacks. I have purchased 4 mags that hold 12 rounds and 1 mag that holds 15 rounds. For some strange reason about half the mags i cant fully load and i have to back off a round. I also have that striker drag that i hear sig started using stronger metal on the strikers. Over all i love the handgun. Im not a small guy im 5' 11" 240 lbs i carry appendix and you would never know that im carrying. Good video guy. Thanks for sharing. I would highly recomend this gun to anyone.
I have an Oct 2018 build as well. I started to carry mine after over 1,000 flawless rounds of numerous types of range and self defense ammo. I can see how another manufacturer could match the size/capacity ratio of the P365, but I don't see how they could beat it. After buying/trying NUMEROUS other pistols for daily CCW, I've found what I will carry for (likely) many years to come.
I was surprised to find out that I could get a full grip with the 10 rd mag with pinky extension. No need for 12rd mag unless I had to have extra 2 rounds. This is a win for me
If you try the 12 round magazines l think you'll like the way they fill the bottom part of the palm of your hand making it more comfortable easier to control more accurate while still being completely concealable at least for me it makes the grip feel complete or more like a fullsized gun
The sig p365 is the best sub compact on the market.

Great review. Throw a "little" 3 in 1 oil on the outside of the slide and it will get rid of the dry, mottled look on the gun.
Keltec p11 was a double stacked 10 rounder that was also small to carry.

Have the Dec 18' and a Feb 19' absolutely no issues!
Great review. I appreciate all the time you’ve spent w the gun before reviewing it. You offer some very good insights.
I waited until this year to try the 365... Tried just about all of the compact 9’s... The 365 is by far my favorite.
Nice review...thx!

Awesome review.Would I be able to send a 365 holster for review?
The P365 has a carbon steel barrel but great video. My 365 has been perfect, same build date
