Its funny how Manziel was short, ran the ball as a QB and was a trouble maker...but because he was the white color, he wasn't criticized
If the Cleveland Browns did any due diligence at all whatsoever, there is no way they would have drafted Manziel in the first place. All this documentary does is confirm rumors for people who covered him back in high school and through college. It was not hard to figure out. It is not enjoyable to see one of the best five high school football players you ever saw while covering the sport go through anything like this. But, for some reason, Americans enjoy watching people fail.

I don't agree with Lucy at all that Manziel was "so mad." Not sure what she is watching. Manziel disagreed and he was caught in the lie, but he did not shit on Chris Cote. I think even to say Manziel was "pissed" is exaggerating. Manziel lied, so what. He didn't burn down the interview Trump style because he did not like a question.
I find Pablo’s signature lean on the mic stand very annoying. Trying too hard to be cool and casual and if I’m Dan my take is “easy dude, you don’t own the place, show some respect for the chair and stop bending my mic stand….” (HE’S…THAT…..GUUUYYYYYY).

What I love about Dominique Foxworth is that he doesn’t bullshit anyone on the show, including Dan. He’s got incisive intelligence, the pro athlete bonafides. But he’s here for the jokes like everyone else. But he won’t dumb it down in terms of analysis for anyone. And if asked, won’t hold back his criticism either. One of the best parts of the show
You do know that Manziel was the #22 rated rookie predraft in 2014? Its a bit absurd to say that no one saw him as a 1st rd pick.

It was a fair question by Chris. But not exactly a victory lap. Johnny obviously knows it is in the doc. He denies it, the agent says it happens. No evidence either is telling the truth.
They’re wrong about Menziel lying about the drug test. Johnny said that part about the documentary didn’t happen. They make it seem like the documentary was produced after the interview lol
Johnny had not seen the documentary before the interview and you can tell because he said that he thought his buddy Uncle Nate might have thought he saw that but it was his agent in the documentary who said it happened. Johnny probably just heard about it being in the documentary and wanted to deny it happening.

Is this what sports radio/podcasting is like, today? I only found these people annoying, and they spent 20 out of the 24 minutes teasing each other with inside jokes and banal observations that TOTALLY cracked them up- but were stupid.
Part two for these nitwits- they seem to accept that if somebody says something, then it is true. Many things were asserted in the JM documentary, and all of it could have been BS. Or, just half of it was BS. I wouldn't go higher than 50% true.
