    I had been a babolat pure drive user since high school and recently switched over to Yonex with the ezone 98 tour. I love the yonex racket quality and what the brand stands for! I can see why they are moving up the ladder and surpassed Head.

      What do you think about the Ezone 98 tour from pure drive? I’m considering to switch to ezone tour now.

    • @gregiffer
      @gregiffer 3 года назад +1

      @@Han-fx4bz My personal opinion: I feel like the pure drive has more “effortless power” than the ezone 98 tour, but feel as if the ezone is more balanced and has better ball plow through. I also like that the ezone isn’t as stiff as the pure drive, although I’ve never had any arm/elbow issues, but as I get older I don’t want any potential long term arm issues.
      I recommend demoing it out! I fell in love when I tried it. Ran into the problem of finding a shop that carried it since they are sold out everywhere lol.

    so quickly. The first public presentation in North America AFAIK. Only disappointment is that if the specs are “unchanged” on the 95, you’ll find the RA still at a lowly 62. So I went and did some research and released that this is a spin and speed type of racquet; and also there will be a new release in January.
    So Vcore line is speed & spin, and Ezone line is more in power.

    from my experience, and because i fell lot of times in the trap of the ''UPDATED VERSION LINE'' , i don't believe in the marketing trends (since we all know that pros play with way much older versions of the rackets they currently endorsing). However, because i wanted to demo a YONEX racket and specifically the VCore 98 because i think it was best suited for my game, and eventually I LOVED IT, i have ordered the last generation in the Galaxy Black edition. Also, the red and blue colour scheme is not nice at all IMO.

      @MrBynumbb 3 года назад +4

      Bite is the grab that the string cuts into the ball with. Some strings are smooth and without shape or texture and therefore not recognized as spin string.
      A players stick is typically heavier 11 ounces or more. It has also has thinner beam to achieve more flex and control. The head size will also be smaller somewhere between a 95 & 97 sq in. This kind of racquet assumes the player has all the power he/she needs and looking for control in a frame.

Only the 100 plus comes in the thinner beam which is a longer racquet. I think the reviews should be more specific. I think Harry's mind was more on the 95 for himself not to bother to review all as per the specs of each one. And still no response to why they don't make the 4 5/8. I remember in one of Harry's reviews where he mentioned taking of 3 over grips of someones racquet. Could it be because he could not find a big size grip.

      I dig it. The square shape put me off yonex before but I am now liking the shape. Add the unmatched QC, my next racquet will definitely be a yonex. I have been screwed by playing a demo I like only to get one that doesn't feel like the demo. Then i get stuffed by buying multiple frames of the same model and the variance is crazy.

      Rackets may not improve; though that is subjective. But, they do change..... technologies change, sw sometimes changes with new balances, new flex ratings, new feel etc. So whoever tells you that doesn't understand how rackets are constructed.
