I have been waiting for this review from you guys. I did change to the VCORE 98 2021 from Pure Drive after hurting my wrist in 2021 based on your content and others. It has been a great racket and I am very much looking forward to trying the VCORE 98 2023. One of the aspects of the VCORE that really surprised me was how good it was on serves. Nothing beats the Pure Drive for serves as it is almost a cheat code but it is too stiff for other parts of my game (especially volleys and slice backhand). Harry and Coach Gu, how did the VCORE 98 2023 feel on serves and volleys?

Thank you for your good contribution. Question about the Yonex Vcore 98: I play the previous model. and as a tennis teacher, I really appreciate that he is grip-heavy. I notice the top-heavy racket in my arm after several hours. Is this new model just as grip-heavy? Thanks and regards Marcus
Is it my idea or is this version of vcore 98 much slower and more controlled than the previous version? It has been difficult for me to accelerate the right, something that did not happen to me with previous versions

Have an older version of the Vcore 98. Want more control in my game. Should I go for the 2023 Vcore 95 or the Solinco Whiteout XTD?
I would try demo it first before you buy it, mine is going on ebay, i will stick to the ezone 98.
have been watching reviews on youtube for the new vcore...the vcore 100 has been a favorite and this is the first someone said the 98 is good!

Early January, and already we have a stick thats staking a claim for best of 2023. That is some stick (I say this as a massive Yonex fan myself, having used the DR98 for many years).

I welcome the increased flex so I can handle a full poly setup and not feel it in my arm. Now I play with hybrid on my VC 98 2021.
@@LArabmoezar - Thicker beam at the end (22.5->23) makes little sense to me, even if it adds as some said a tiny bit of stability. I doubt, it's noticeable, but sure makes it is less maneuverable. Other factors, lower stiffness and swingweight; the second can be customized, but not the first. My VC98 V6 is heavily customized. IMHO, Yonex is trying to be everything to every player and thus is missing the mark. If they want to be known as players racket guru, they have to make flex, plush rackets with a large sw/weight or alternatively low weight/sw and higher stiff (ala Babolat). They are neither and it's frustrating...

I have both eZone 98 and VC98(2023).......eZone all the way for me(and few others i know who tried). Try it before you buy it, don't buckle under the advertising like i did.

From this video, it seems to be way better than one of my least favorite of all time, the 2018 VC98, which felt hollow and stiff.
