Great review - one of the better racket reviews in my opinion. Keen to hear your thoughts and high-level comparisons between the ‘23 vcore 98 and ‘22 ezone 98. Cheers.
I just got mine a couple of days ago..I have not really use it that much..I find it very powerful..I strung mine with Natural Gut Mainat 52lb and RPM Blast cross at 48lb..Maybe I shoul increase the main to 54lb..
I have a similar setup and had to go up to 60 on the gut. It was much better but still a little much. I’m going to try to reverse the hybrid set up and try lux 4G in mains to hopefully reign in the power and add more control
I was litterly just looking at buying a vcore 98 the new one or the white limited edition one I love yonix and I think thier rackets compliment my agressive play style my current one is a sv 98 vcore I got a year or two ago from a friend
How would you compare the power/Control versus the new Ezone? I really like hitting with the new 98 and wondering how similar the Vcore is. I have a 2019 Vcore 100 and want more power with more control.
If you use the 2019 vcore 100 and want more power and control, the new vcore 98 is a good choice. I would recommend demoing before purchasing though. This new vcore felt more powerful than the 2022 Ezone 98
@@ryansolomon4178 ezone has more control and in my opinion more spin potential. Played with both and landed on the ezone. Vcore 98 is great too, slightly less stiff as well
Hello nice video, in terms of control, maneuverability and arm comfort (I have some elbow problems) which racket is better Vcore 98 2023 or Tecnifibre Iso 30
@@opencourt808I originally loved the Boom Pro but I found the high launch angle really messed up my slice approach shots did you have that problem? This Vcore 98 also has a high launch but I find it great for slicing as long as I take a full cut at the ball. While it is a bit launchy on volleys i find the speed and spin I get on serves make up for that as a net player.
I haven't tried the 100 yet but judging from how powerful the 98 was, I don't think I'll like the 100 that much unless strung at a higher tension. Even the 98 just had too much power at times
I have not tried the new 98, but have the 2022 VCore 98 and 100. I overwhelmingly prefer the 100. The 98 is both less powerful and more importantly, LESS control, than the 100 imo. When you are just casually hitting, both feel similar to me, but when you are in an actual match, or is being pressured, or wants to hit harder - I find the 98 much less predictable than the 100. I do have a 1hbh, and prefer the 98 over the 100. But other than that, I find the 100 to be superior to the 98 in every way. I'm currently play in USTA 4.0 league and is maybe slightly above average.
I lost my cherished Head iX 6 man was I upset but my own fault, waay to much tennis really whacked, left it in Parkade. But crestfallen all over a $10, 2004 racquet. That should hint at how good that Head Racquet is. 👍👍 Spoiler Alert I think you just sold me on a VCore 98, trying it out next week. I tried Ezone 100 NICE pop but directionally it just wasn't as good as the Technifibre T-Fight 315 static weight 98 sq in which I thought was a 100 sq in head size. Superb balance, very strong snap back yowsers delish and ploughed through like a D8 Cat! Arm issues only slight on Technifibre but still a concern for this youngster. I instinctively hit flat from baseline as a rule(can't help it) and could use extra oomph but you say generous top spin so not quite sure your issue there. Wait✋ how was the grip was it feeling a half size too big again? Did that evil Yonex QA guy slip up again??? Honestly man, I'd consult my congressman! 😈 I was just going to say if you can't drop shot maybe it's your string not your racquet. So how about a tip from the hip. Which did you like better the vcore or the extreme tour auxetic?
How compare Vcore98 and VcorePro100 ? Control\power? Forgiviness? Maneuverability ?
What string setup did you use for this?
Thanks for sharing

there is no white vcore?
@cadethompson3617 My mistake it is an Ecore

@@opencourt808 Awesome, thank you. The 98 Ezone felt very solid. Hoping this feels the same.

@@MrFunkyko my current Vcore RA is 67 I believe so more stiff than both.

Sorry, I haven't tried the Tecnifibre Iso yet.
I've had golfers elbow for years and this vcore doesn't irritate it, its quite muted, i string it with head hawk at 45 lbs
Great video. What string and tension did you use ?
I used Yonex PT drive at 52 lbs
This, Boom Pro, or Prince ATS 98?
MY favorite of these three is the Boom Pro

Any difference between Vcore 98 and Regna 98 ?
Vcore 98 is way more powerful. The Regna 98 is stiffer and I feel is better for flat shots.
Is the regna 98 still the best 98 you tested?
In the Yonex family, the Regna 98 is probably my favorite 98 because of the control and feel
