  • In this video, we set out to repair the broken sunroof in our stretched 1988 Lincoln Towncar Limousine, but things don't go as planned. We thought removing the headliner would give us access to the sunroof motor-only to find out later that it wasn't necessary at all! After gutting the interior, we discover the motor is actually behind the driver's front seat, and the real issue? A simple tripped breaker. Watch as we finally get the sunroof working again, and learn from our mistake!

What do you all think of our Limo? Any suggestions of future upgrades or projects we should do with it?

Whenever something electrical stops working, always check the fuses and relays first...

You are 100% right. When we started working on it, I was not fully aware of the breaker box and how it was integrated into the electrical system. The breaker box was custom to the limo and added by the coach builder when the towncar was stretched. We have since replaced all the bad breakers in the box and updated most of the electrical in the whole limo since this was filmed.

They are not. We have put the Limo back together since and have been using it.
