I really like this video. I have explored the falls many times as I used to live at 'Wenty' in the 1960s to the late 1970s. Such a beautiful area and the video certainly shows it well.
Back in the day the falls use to roar and the water spray filled the air. I swam in the lake on weekends then peddled my bike over to the falls. They are quite spectacular. The slacks steps were wooden then and not so safe. I plan to explore again over the Dec/Jan period video camera in hand. Something for my RUclips channel eventually.
This is my channel link, I hope it works otherwise it’s just my name. My videos are varied and quite simple. I live overseas but each time I’m home I’m out exploring. ruclips.net/channel/UCdJ7DH-Q9ZWg0aD9tWavaRw?view_as=subscribers
The narrator and music are pretty low key but the video is excellent - and more than enough to convince me to experience the trek to the bottom of Slacks Steps! (But not during peak tourist season!) Can't wait!
Jack Aakhus Thank you Jack. Hope you like it. Please share some of your photos on our Facebook site. I am working on my narrating too. :) facebook.com/HolidayHunterAustralia
bjl0v3s Hi there. Allow for most of the day. To the bottom of the main falls, allow around an hour to hour and a half. To the very bottom, allow for around 5 hours round trip. And don't forget you camera, plenty of water and a great lunch
My home Wentworth Falls. Lived here all my life.

Thank you, Rick. Sadly the falls do not run as much these days due to the lack of rain. I hope to film again when they flow solid again... Cheers
