Hiking The Blue Mountains, Australia - Mt Solitary Loop
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 июл 2024
- This hike took place in The Blue Mountains following one of the larger full loops of the Kedumba valley. The trail head was located at Katoomba near scenic world and crossed the Ruined Castle rock formations, Mt Solitary, Kedumba camp ground, the Cleary Memorial and the very scenic Darendelles pass before returning up the great staircase back to Katoomba. I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching!

Such a relaxing video, and I can see a lot of effort was put in to making it. Hope you'll come back and make some more!
that video was banging
Haha! Love the bloopers at the end. So real😅
Haha yes we are all human and make mistakes!
This was perfect 👍🏼
Thanks for sharing loved the angles was a delight to watch 🙌🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loved it - amazing walk, amazing countryside and great storytelling via your footage. Thanks!
Thanks mate
Awesome video mate, love the cinematography 💯
Thanks mate.
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you! It was fun to capture this landscape
This is an amazing adventure through the most beautiful, stunning part of the world. The Blue Mountains are just next level and you have taken us on a journey like no other! I enjoyed watching every moment of this including the bloopers at the end. Well worth watching this video.
Thanks very much for this meticulously made video. We surely should see more coverage of Down Under.
Even more amazing is what an one-man shooting setup needed along all those up’s and down’s on the trail.
The key is to try and only take the need items and not the want items.
Nice and peaceful mate, thanks for taking us along and for showing at the end that it wasn't as easy as you were making it look!
Thank you. It is not always as glamorous as it seems haha!
That was great!
Thanks for taking us along.
Looking forward to more videos
😄
Thank you!
Totally Rugged
Well done mate. Heading up there in a few weeks to give this one a crack.
Hope you enjoy it!
Amazing video bro!! Keep producing more great videos!!
Thank you so much man.
At last, a Kraig Adams style video in Australia, great content mate, no talking (thou I did love the outtakes) just the right amount of music, meal preparation, thoroughly enjoyed, just subscribed and look forward to watching more. I am a 67 year old female bushwalker who lives in Newcastle ( if your interested in demographics).
Thank you for the comment and glad to see you are getting out there enjoying our beautiful country :)
Thanks that was cool 👍
No problem man!
Cảm ơn Anh rất nhiều thank you so much my dear friend
Thank you for watching!
Well done sean!
Thank you. I have a couple of plans to sort through for the next ones but I have been slack haha :)
What tent and backpack is that? Sorry, new to hiking :)
I think I may have done this one before, long time ago.
It was a good one to be honest. Even the road section was great after climbing through all the hills and was a relief to be back on consistent ground.
Great video, thanks mate! What's that pavilion at 8:22?
Hey Sean, great video.
Can I ask, how much water did you take. And is there my places to filter sen refill?
Leaving Katoomba there are streams everywhere so you shouldn't have an issue as I did this in summer. My solitary there aren't as many so would fill up before ascending. From the campsite and all through the valley you won't have an issue.
@@seancjmatthews thanks very much mate
what did you use for the night sky time lapse
It was the time-lapse movie mode feature in the Nikon Z6.
That liar bird was cool
Can I join...
May I ask where you camped overnight?
Sean Matthews? Where did you camp overnight?
It was in the bottom of the valley at a hike in only campground called Kedumba river crossing camp ground. You can also access it from tableands road in the east for a much easier hike in.
@@seancjmatthews you chose to walk up out of Kedumba though ... that hill ...
@@camgrice I know! Did you do the chain climb? I missed the footage capturing that climb it would have been great content
@@seancjmatthews nope, just straight up Kedumba Valley Road, didn't try the Goat Track either.
Is this atea all still closed?
I'm not entirely sure as I hiked this a year ago now.
you insult our intelligence with all the camera setups filming yourself coming & going.
Haha it is a bit like work at times :)
It's more like "artistic license". Well done. @@seancjmatthews
