Honestly they pair extremely well together if you wanted to diversify from the savor/savor1. pairing the C1 duo with the Amex gold could cover most needs that people have for spend. Food (dining and Grocery)- 4X Uber - 10X Streaming - 3X or 4X Entertainment- 3X or 4X Flights - 5x via c1 portal , 3x direct with gold, or 2x direct with VX Rentals & hotels - 10x Travel & other - 2x

I have both cards and venture X is way better. AMEX travel points absolutely BLOW compared to Chase and Capital One. Cancelled my AMEX platinum and downgraded to gold, want to cancel but haven’t even used my welcome points bc it sucks so much, I use the other cards points!
