- I've had my comments section flooded by lots of you (and the cameraman) recommending me to come to Blacklock and try their food. Well, I finally managed to get down here and give it a go... all I can say is that you were all spot on. Enjoy the video!

I was going to suggest Blacklock, it one of the best steak houses in London and from my humble POV, the best place for a Sunday roast 🤤. Great choice, Gary! Keep up the fantastic work, mate! 👌
So was I - was impossible to get a table so it will be even worse now, lol 😢
@@peepshowtube last time I went for a Sunday roast, we had to book 4 months in advance. But usually not a problem to get a table on a weekday or for lunch.

Black lock is just an amazing place full stop. Their roast dinners are very underrated too.

It honestly makes a world of difference, it speaks volumes for places when the service is top notch - they'll have returning customers just from that. The food looked incredible, glad you got the gravy / beef dripping again, it's a becoming a Gary thing! If you ever decided to bring out some Gary Eats merchandise, please make it gravy related 😂

Damn - I love a pork chop and could have devoured the whole plate of food I just saw.Looked bloody lovely and my mouth is watering!!!!!!! As usual Gary - great review and looking forward to the next one but it will have to go some way in beating a plate of meat, proper chips and a decent gravy

Wow Gary Blacklock a place i must go to next time im in London, like i have said before first impressions do it for me, and as soon as the plates came out you could tell it was quality, (maybe they should tell Beefeater about there meat supplier)
That Gravy was dark and amazing, clearly made from meat juices and with care and attention to detail.

Another great review. The food looks phenomenal. I was eating a cup of instant noodles while watching this and regretting my life choices (well, as far as the cup noodles go anyway).

Love their Blacklock City restaurant near Monument. Their ‘All In’ mixed grilled chops menu is such good value and really delicious, and I can’t get enough of their dripping chips with onions and gravy for dipping 🤤 Never had a bad meal there and a really nice vibe. Only complaint would be the lack of dessert options, but I’m usually too full to even contemplate a dessert so I’m not too bothered 🤣🤣

Four of us visited the Soho branch of Blacklock's Chop House last Saturday, thanks to your recommendation, and we were not disappointed. Three of us went with the all in one, whilst my wife had the halloumi. Though the chops, steak and halloumi were really good, two items on the menu stood out for me: the whole sweet potatoes, which were amazing, and the white chocolate cheesecake, which was simply outstanding. I have often had steak and chops which equalled those I had on the night, but I have never had sweet potatoes or cheesecake that good.

We’re going ourselves tomorrow and I have a question- I checked the menu and the meal you had was the All In platter. The menu stipulates a minimum of 2 people, and it also includes some pre chop bites which we didn’t see. Was the food on the platter what each diner gets ?
It is David, the staff are very helpful and just tell them what you want and they will accommodate, please let me know how it goes 👌
