That feature has always been there man, I used it 3 years ago on my 3rd gen Firestick.
I have had this problem from time to time. If it was fine then starts becoming un synced. Go to manage applications and clear cache on each app regardless of size and restart. This will free up space and everything will be synced again. I do this once a month or so or it becomes a problem. You can also choose to Uninstall option for unwanted apps which will also free up more space. Works great.

It only works with hdmi audio connections and not on older optical systems. Since recent updates my lip sync on my Fire Cube 3rd gen has gone really bad. I know it is not my media system as lip sync is fine on Sky box and smart tv versions of the streaming apps like Netflix. As soon as I go on the Fire TV, the sync is out badly. Have tried all settings and can’t get it close.
I used this feature when I got Fire Stick 4K Max as the audio was out of sync whereas my previous 2nd generation Fire Stick never had an audio sync problem. Yes there's a bit of trial and error but it works very nicely in the end.
Well, it works but in my case it's out of sync again when I turn TV off and then turn on. I found out it's about Dolby Digital so permanent solution is set basic stereo as default instead of using Dolby.
where are you changing the dolby settings, in your display?
@@wally6193 in Fire Stick go to settings > display and sounds > sound > surround sound and there set PCM instead of Auto, Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital Plus. Now it should work perfectly fine. I'm not just sure if there are problems with Dolby Atmos cuz my TV doesn't support it.

Oh thanks. I had mine set to Best Available and I was having to turn TV off and back on. I’ll try PCM
@@chelynnah I haven't noticed any sound latency since using PCM. You may find it a little bit more quiet then Dolby but I don't think it sounds worse or something. There is not latency for sure.
I am not finding av sync option in my firestick. There are only two in audio
Navigation sound
And dolby digital output

You didn't hit apply as it was greyed out as is mine and it won't apply.
Some people wil know that instead of going all the way to the right, to get to settings, like you did, you can also go left and get to settings quicker. Also, agree with you that, to me, i could never see a difference with the flash, bouncing ball and tone. Every time they seemed the same.

Hi it has definitely been there for the last year or so it doesn't look like it does much but you have to move it and then hit apply for it to work but it definitely works

Just doing your channel loving it, I’ve done this on fire stick but one of streaming service is still super out of sync but as prime Disney plus all fine. Any advise ? Thanks
I'd suggest unplugging the power from your Fire Stick for 10 seconds or so. For me that solved the problem after I played with that bouncing ball for 20 minutes. Had no effect whatsoever on audio sync.
Guessing this also works for the newest Fire TV's since the interface seems to be the same as my Firestick 4K Max sticks..yes/no?
I installed the latest update and followed your directions step by step but my firestick does not have AV Sync Tuning. I have the 4K Max and the version is the same as yours. I'm in the U.S.

I had to push my all the way over to the left almost. Definitely not synced on the screen but the streaming service the audio is much better.

Well I spent a half an hour trying to synch Audio/ Video. I checked every one of the 32 choices on the slider. None put it properly in to synch. I have no special audio setup. Just my TV. I am done using Fire TV.
I have to reboot my firestick in order for it to become in sync. However I have to do that quite often but it resolves the issue.

Hey every1 I just say a other video about pirated firestic in Egypt & another place that ran for 15 yrs at 50 million viewers a month so %they wont let us remap our controls we prefer idk what that means I'm new to streaming & got a 43" &50" fire tv plus 2 firestiks 4k max so I hoping that these where a good investment cuz I saw other posts about jumping ship but I stuck with all these Amazon products I got all my products on sale but does it have a good longevity odds??

The adjustment didn’t really show on the video if I’m honest. If I have sync issues, I just change player settings to use VLC. I’ve never had an issue with VLC. Great player
VLC - is that gaming-related? Because I tried the above, and I agree - it doesn't seem to be any different one side or the other side. And my sync delays are gradual. The only thing that helps is restarting but, eventually, it falls out of sync. Not the worst problem to have, but it's annoying as hell.
Go into settings, then audio sync..and scroll the yellow dot all the way to the left. Then apply...
Hi m8 I have a jvc 65inch 4k fire tv it has no audio sync on it so apps and sound are out really annoying can you help resolve
Great video, question; I can now see "Spatial Audio" when I watch Netflix with my LG C1 tv, however, this does not show on my firestick 4k Max, any ideas why this is missing? Example MH370 the plane that disappeared. Thanks Mike
Update, I have changed my surround sound Audio to "PCM" that has fixed it and spatial audio now appears on Netflix.
I got a firestick 4k & any app I use I get video pausing or buffering & sometimes the screen goes blank & "CONNECTION TIMED OUT" comes up on the screen.
Is this fixable?
Any app that I can get network tv on? None seem to be working in the US.

I have recently had bother playing my apps on 4k stick. If l use the internal player, it seems to work, but if l use mx player or vlc player, it stops after about 1o minutes.

Firstly, the lack of specificity in explanation is concerning. It remains unclear whether the audio sync problem is limited to a single application, affects multiple apps, or is a universal issue across all streaming platforms. This vagueness only adds to the frustration of viewers seeking a genuine solution to this problem. "I believe it wasn't there before" is a "very strong" argument...
Furthermore, the video itself appears to be little more than clickbait, promising a solution that does not deliver as advertised. Such misleading content not only disappoints viewers but also damages the credibility of your channel...
Tend to agree with this, not a fix for the majority. If he would have continued on in this video mentioning if it doesn’t work for you then you may want to switch your surround sound to PCM instead of it being set to Auto. That’s what fixed it for me and I discovered this by another’s comment.

Isn't that the lamest thing you've ever seen? I have tried every adjustment, and it has no effect on the audio/video synch.
Thats been there years. Why do you scroll all the way to the right to settings, go left.
