Sarah sitting on the side of the bed that Claire has just collapsed on is like the kindest, nicest mother urging on her recalcitrant child! Go Sarah! You have the patience of a saint.
If there’s any kind of fire, this place will go up in one go “But I have crystals under the floor! And the crystals are on top of a stack of old newspapers! What could possibly go wrong?!”
Any projects that starts “over the years.....” is either a disaster or as in this case, someone using inherited money. I have the bed my grandfather made for my grandmother for a wedding gift over 100 years ago. Round bed? Nope! A “healthy home” with a staircase lacking a railing is a contradiction.
So, walls are officially obsolete? I better start knocking all mine down. Clare's health obsession isn't working for her. She looks much older than her age. Is this a joke? The only one with any sense is the structural engineer: "Madness."
Godfrey Korb I think the couple was fine. Part of the reason though is that their development was more or less straight forward. It was quite simple to do, and they didn't really do anything that was questionable. Sarah's only complaint was the different types of wood in the kitchen. If that's her only complaint, they did a pretty good job, lol.
Clair needs therapy... more therapy than her house can provide. It's one thing if you've got a buyer looking for such things as she envelopes within her psyche but it comes across to me like her parents funded her whimsy...I wouldn't buy a house from someone who tore into the structure without guidance... even if she did get fixed after. My question would be, what did she forget she broke that no one caught? Completely not the way to do property investing. The other couple did well, though it never pays to hold out for more money if it's your first time. Get out, get on, keep learning on...
The end results were really good for both properties. I was really surprised. They actually got finished and both properties were beautiful. It wasn't what I expected from watching the "progress" during the episode. Both were a hopeless mess, then suddenly they were done and they turned out great.
Claire was turning 32 in this video? She looks like she is 42. All that health consiousness.... I don't know; doesn't seem to be working all that well for her..... she acts like a spoiled child anyway.
Beautiful staircase - but very unsafe - no railing at all. All these personal touches are something buyers should do for their own property - not one they plan on selling immediately.
A sunken table so that dust from the floor around more easily gets on the table. Sure, everyone wants that. Where do they find these people! Growing on trees? There is almost nobody I'd rather see fail massively than Claire.
Are these 3 people wearing repurposed clothing? Probably not. How about their food? Probably not. But then again, JP and his girlfriend? dig out of the trash.
These developers have their hearts in the right place but don’t have any idea that to sell a house, you are working towards a general not a niche market. Sarah looks frustrated. I’m sure she was being challenged, from the get go, and very little of her free expertise is really being absorbed. You’re not going to buy the house you are developing, people! You’re trying to SELL!
Lol Sarah peeking out from behind the tree at the beginning
Meanwhile on Planet Earth ....
They are buying a space. And it's between her ears.
Sara is very patient.

😂 😂 😂 Very
Whoaaaaaa, Yoga Girl is from a different universe!
If there’s any kind of fire, this place will go up in one go
“But I have crystals under the floor! And the crystals are on top of a stack of old newspapers! What could possibly go wrong?!”
That woo woo lady is unbelievable! Good lord!
My god this woman is off her face: this is brilliant 😂
!!!! yeah.

Prime example of "more money than sense"
And it don'no matter how new age she gits, old age is gonna git 'er in the end....
Where do they find these people???
Looney bin.
Growing on walnut trees.
I would like to know what Clare was smoking,😊but so glad to see that it is now finished.
I can't watch this anymore, that woman is making my nerves bad.
Both these “.developers” are either nutty or smoking the green stuff

both, probably.

She seems like the type of rich westerner to have a guru that's robbing her blind.
She's well loopy but very likeable with it.

Ah! The magic of editing!
Definition of an environmentalist: They want their cabin in the woods, they just don't want you to have a cabin in the woods.

That's rather mean spirited. She has unusual ideas and is disorganised, but has a kind heart full of love, light, and vitality.
If she is Vegan it explains her haggard looks. Veganism runs a person down quickly.
@Colleen De koning Nice try, Colleen. You've drunk the kool-aid and you will suffer for your ignorance.
oooh never thought this series was a comedy.....im crying of laughter
Sorry Clare you have a butterfly brain. I have sympathy with what you’re trying to do but if you keep changing your mind it’s costing you more.
Can I say Daft Mare
yes you can! and you'd be right.
Sarah must have spent the entire show thinking that Jeremy Beadle was about to pop out
Surbiton not the home of ecowarriors? Has Sarah never watched The Good Life?
That girl is wack-a-do ... however, I am shocked by how beautifully the finished product turned out, given the level of dis-organization.

There’s green and then there’s weird. Give me a break
"this is like climbing up a mountain [...] it's the last 5k that will kill you". yeah well considering the tallest mountain is 8k....
Finding low VOC finishes is difficult, most of them only slightly reduce rather than eliminate VOCs.
Crystals under the floor. I'm 💀
A sunken table so that dust from the floor around more easily gets on the table. Sure, everyone wants that. Where do they find these people! Growing on trees? There is almost nobody I'd rather see fail massively than Claire.
I want a circular bed
Anyone know where I can get one
This episode seems to be really old!! Homes with green status or nonvoc paint, and other things do sell for more...ok maybe not 100 k more..but more
Now, when exactly did it happen that 'idiot' was rebranded as 'artist'?
Are these 3 people wearing repurposed clothing? Probably not. How about their food? Probably not. But then again, JP and his girlfriend? dig out of the trash.
Repurposed food? Is that a thing.

This presenter is so rude.... I'm surprised she lasted so long on TV
Claire is onto something good here and cheerfully accepted the feedback from Sarah so she will achieve something great in her next project.
Claire didn't sell her property in Bow. What a lovely person; we are all different kinds in this world.
She didn't sell it because she wanted more than what the estate agents valued it for. Big mistake.
