great choice. ive had my 6 D3100's for a little over 10 years now, and I've been using and abusing them ALOT. They are noticeably not as good as when they were new, but its been 10 + years and they're still going.
I had a Optima RedTop for a while an no lights dimming even with a stock 145A alt, but when I decided to upgrade the XS Power D3400 with a Mechman 250A alt was the only way to go!~
Awesome, i had a question can the xs titan 8 s5 pwr 4900 lithium battery go under the hood of my truck? Was gonna do a xs d series 4900 agm and d4s 6.0 lithium in back for 2nd battery but if the titan 8 4900 lithium can go under my hood that 1 battery can power my truck and 2.5k system with jus that 1 battery
@@ricks_life2046you should kick that old alt and get a real one. But if you are running the C-2400 you are ok. Of course a Big 3 would be an absolute must. As long as that alt can hold you 14.v - 15v during idle and NEVER lets you drop below 11v, your ok for now.
Man do the big three and add a xs power under hood, you know dropping below 13/13.5, you loosing bass!!!😅 should shoot for at least 13.8 14v, at all times starting or no start of vehicle

My system is 4500 RMS, and I've got it all connected to one single XS battery and I can't believe at full tilt my voltage doesn't move. I do need a big 3 so I know that maybe I'm not pulling more than 2k or so realistically because the wiring bottleneck. But what I've got is insanely loud and runs off just one xs battery. I saw a lot of people say lots of things but your video was when I pulled the trigger and got one. Once I do the big 3 maybe it'll be capable of pulling enough juice to tax this battery but right now it can run full volume, no voltage and no dimming so far. Thank you again man.

A pair of xs power batteries for my cummins is $1000 vs normal batteries at $300. Thats a huge cost. Warranty on batteries is 3 years and caps 1 year. How long would it really last? I tend to only get 3 years with nornal batteries. It seems to usually be just at the end or after the warranty.

The doors are much better because the speakers surround you instead of just blast your dome. Lol and with a yukon you have a huge amount of possibilities to go with. Check out the combo kits at customspeakerpods
I read that the cars with ECU controlled voltage regulators that they will not properly charge XS or other AGMs because the V needs to be 13.8-14.5v to charge properly. The ECU in my WRX fluctuates between 12.2-14.8v depending on numerous variables. Will this battery charge properly in any car?
At the risk of telling u something you already know its been my impression that these batteries arnt designed to be charged by ANY car electrical system because you cant float charge them that way which is what they call for. So imo it's irrelevant, to a degree, because you need to buy a float charger and check your battery every so often and charge it that way anyways.

I got a factory alt with 2 Wolfram AG 12's on a Wolfram 2400.1. And a xs d3400r in my trunk. Told thats all i need from a car audio shop.
Factory alt is a 120.

Is this good with a 200 amp alternator?
I need a battery that will handle 7k and my alternator that charges at 15 volts....I forgot to get a Voltage regulator and killed 144 ah of headway
