    I was thinking about doing the same thing with the XS Power S5 4700 in my F-150 and now have clarification that it is a good decision.
    Thanks for posting this video as it has helped me a lot

      Just purchased the S5 4700 last Thursday from D4S.
      Can't wait to see how much more power I can get from JP23 V1.5
      I even bought some 0/1 gauge for the big 3 for more current from my stock 140a Alt
      If it does ok I'll wait till I have enough to make a blow thru with bigger amps and woofers

      @@COS_DREAMSCAPELet me know how it turns out, MOST Def will be a BIG increase 4sure! Also did u check out my previous video, titled battery or alternator 1st, if not check it out! I was delayed a MONTH bc D4S sent me the wrong (polarity) battery and when went to exchange it, they said they had it but I made them check, come find out they didn’t, also once they received it I had to call bc no update & they hadn’t even got to it yet SMH so had to wait 2 extra wks just a heads up! Now just imagine if you put sound deadening all throughout in the doors, rear area, and overhead!! I wonder if those things are good for those of us that live in hot summer cities like Phoenix & Las Vegas? I live in Phoenix and have been wanting to go with a lithium under the hood battery that is good for the summers out here.

    Hi bro, one question. Did you need to charge the battery before using it?

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  Месяц назад

      @josuegaona1546 Yeah they don’t come shipped 100% charged you will need to charge it before installing it! If you’re ordering the S5 version is 100% at 13.6v, I charged mine to 14.0v! You don’t have to go buy a couple hundred dollar lithium charger either! I just used a $30 Noco Genius 1, put it on the lithium setting, and hook a Multi meter up to it so u can monitor it, DO NOT Over charge it, so make sure you stay right there with it while charging! The noco 1 will take longer to charge bc it’s only a 1a charger but beats paying Hundreds! I have a link to the charger in the description if you’d like to check it out! If you have any other ?’s, don’t hesitate, I’m here to help! Thanks 🫡💪🏼💯

      Mine don’t budge now, but also I’m currently doing a new build, but idk if I mentioned it in this video or 1 b4 but I already have the big 3 kit just haven’t installed it yet bc I was gunna do it when I put my HOA in & do it all at once!

    So did i just buy a 320 high output alt for no reason? This battery with my 130 amp alt would gave been enough to run my 3-4k system on it own? Do you have to drive it evey day to keep it charged or can you not drive a week and be fine?

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  23 дня назад

      Yeah, man sorry to say. But also it gets worse, unfortunately. You can’t run a titan 8 direct fit S5 version with a high output alternator higher than 300 amps 😬 sorry man! Just don’t want to see nothing bad happen nor you waste anymore money!

    • @Jaydogg209
      @Jaydogg209 23 дня назад +1

      @MoToArchY I actually just talked to xs today and they said 320 would be fine. I ordered my alt yesterday so im currently trying to cancel my order and buy the titan8. Cool thing about these is they are the same output for all sizes. Did you have any issues with battery drain with that small amount of ah?

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  23 дня назад

       Really!? That’s interesting, who did you speak with bc I have their car audio experts direct line!? I would double check, bc I was wanting to go with a 320 js HOA and they just recommended me going with the 250 they offer! I’m just telling you what I was told and what the directions and videos say! Let me know how it turns out! But about the AH not really bc LTO recharges insanely FAST and I never listen to my music without the car running, which btw I RECOMMEND to EVERY1 To ALWAYS DO! + I have more watts than you plan on running so you should be fine! & ACTUALLY…imma bout to make a short or a lil video of something, let’s just say ah “lil trick” I learned I could do today! 🤫🫨🤯 But lmk how it turns out!

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  23 дня назад

      Another thing I would like to add is your doing the right thing getting the battery 1st! Check my other video out about which to choose first! Battery or alternator! Even js recommend battery 1st! Bc not every battery can take a HOA apparently!

    • @Jaydogg209
      @Jaydogg209 23 дня назад +1

      @MoToArchY I spoke with Patrick and I just confirmed again with him 320 is fine. I just saw they have a new version of the titan8 to pre order with twice the ah for around the same price, I'll just have to wait till Jan though. I do plan on running more watts down the road. I should be able to accomplish that with just these batteries and that's crazy where car audio going. Soon alts will be useless sounds like. The new titan8 rsv46 is 46ah 6k to 10k

    Really wish I could have used one of these for my build but I had to go with the super bank because my engine bay gets really hot and I've heard that these are under hood safe but for vehicles like yours with battery protection trays and best to use the heat shield like you are doing there's no replacement for reserve's AH'S but the super cap did stabilize the voltage some great video bro keep upgrading its addictive LoL especially when you can hear and feel a gain in your setup I love it but on the real when I was running the stock alternator super caps made a huge difference in how hard my subs hit

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  2 месяца назад +1

      Yeah it don’t have a lot of AH but I don’t demo or park and play, I always just listen when I’m driving, so it’s better suited for that and I’m not running insane power so that helps too! But on a stock alternator, not bad, I’m definitely upgrading to a HOA tho, bc it’s NEVER enough and ALWAYS wanna go bigger!

      @@MoToArchY mo powa baby 💪💪💯 I learned the hard way bro almost 1500$ on lifepo4 and other temporary bandaids but every time I came up lacking and finally got told the golden rule it takes power to make power I'm limited to a 240 amp with my 4-cylinder car BUT the SCIB makes up for it with super strong voltage the 29AH is a monster battery for the small capacity of reserves it has I can't wait to see what I can do with the 72.5AH's 808patanderdon was running the same bank on 3 AAK 8k's and several thousand wattion mids and highs and was holding voltage above 15 so I should be good for around 20-25k but I really really like the fact that XS is making options for the stock charging system in LTO I want to see everyone banging no matter what you're running

    I noticed the batter charger link you put up. Quick question tho bro: with the lithium battery, are you having to charge it frequently, or often??

    • @MoToArchY
      @MoToArchY  Месяц назад +1

      No man, NOT At ALL! When they ship the battery it’s never at 100% so you just need to charge it once before you install it and then your alternator, will continue to keep it charged! That’s why I recommend just getting the charger I linked because you will only need it ONCE! I didn’t feel it was necessary to buy a couple hundred dollar charger just to use once! Hope this helps

      @@coachron30I can’t remember exactly I wrote it down, but I’m not at home right now. But it was like a couple hours I think not very long for real, but it’s VERY important not to over charge it, keep a multimeter hooked up to it and STAY near it! DON’T leave it on overnight or nothing, if you have to, unplug it and continue to finish charging it when you have time to monitor it! Hope this helps! Keep me posted! I have big things coming VERY soon!
