All I can say is Wow. As I watched the video, all I could think of was the machines used to make the tiny little parts. Who designed the machines? Who set them up, and made sure that all the movements were in time with all the other machine movements. As someone who did maintenance on machines, I can only sit here and shake my head on who has to make sure each machine is "in time" with all the other parts of the system. Didn't think there would be that much demand for tiny Music Boxes. But I guess there is. Hats off to the company and the people who maintain the machines.
I guess this is the old Sankyo factory? IIRC, Nidec bought them for their specialist electric motors, but it's really nice to see that the music box business is still going.
I love this channel! These videos are awesome. Just one wish: No music, just the industrial soundscape. The humming, buzzing, scraping, screeching, scratching, squealing, clicking would be enough for this video.
I sure hope they wear ear plugs with all that noise in the rooms Very beautiful music boxes and thanks for sharing this with us!!!!!! I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Hi ! I'm visitim japan next week. I'm a brasilian artisan and i'd love by some music box mecanism to customize rhan. Do you know if i could by some of these!? Thank you
I absolutely loved this process, hope this factory never closes. 🙏💜

Thanks for all the videos you produce I just love watching how things are made.
Astonishing process. I had no idea it was so complicated to make such a small thing.

Even more impressive than the music boxes is the ability to design, build and organize such complicated machinery.
That "Castle in The Sky" music box is so relaxing.
Excellent 🎇 I am very impressed 💯 All best 💖

Nidec
I sure hope they wear ear plugs with all that noise in the rooms
Very beautiful music boxes and thanks for sharing this with us!!!!!!
I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Amazing
impressive
I have one of these music boxes I have had it for decades now.
Quy trình sản xuất hợp nhạc Nhật Bản tuyệt vời. Những người cao thủ trong nghề 🇯🇵👍.
Ustanın ellerine sağlık, orijinal bir iş çıkardı
😌🎶Sound from childhood 🙏
Nidec
Would have liked to see how they put the striker's on the drums
13:24 you could check the volume level or frequency response to increase process.
Fantastic!
Massive amount of robotics.
Now I'm wanting one-
Also, anyone know what song the music box is playing?
The song that is playing under the video is a beautiful tune by Veaceslav Draganov called Sea Inhabitants
@@totalrecone I was meaning the music box but k-
Unless that's also what the music box is playing-
"Carrying you".
Theme song of Ghibli's "Laputa".

I'm pretty sure they play the audio track to this video as a form of torture at Gitmo.
I hope they are selling alll that in the age of SmartPhones.
👍👍❤❤
🇯🇵
I think the music detracts from the video.
I watched this video and remembered the music box in Nier automata.
Why do you add some annoying music all over the video? It would have been way more relaxing with just the noise from the machines.
Thousands of hours and millions of $ invested in machinery for a musical drum worth $5 at best.
The irony of someone complaining about waste while watching a RUclips video on a smartphone or computer

Schreckliche Musik. 👎 lasse ich gerne da.
