Tesla Model Y DIY PPF Wrap

Installing a DIY PPF wrap on our Tesla Model Y was a rather challenging, but worthwhile job. We knew we wanted to protect the front of our Model Y, but were not willing to fork over the thousands of dollars being quoted to do the job.

The completed PPF wrap on my Tesla Model Y was not a professional level job, but it was a good enough job to justify the substantial savings. The total cost was about 15% the cost to have a local pro shop complete. Thats 15% the cost, as in 85% less!
This is a skilled job to complete, and is labor intensive. No special tools are needed, however, you will need some soap and alcohol to mix for application. This is a complete DIY job, and can be difficult to successfully do. This video is an outline of how to do the job and what type of results to expect.
