- We are selling our house once it's completed. We are making a 6 week push to finish our home 100 percent. We have brought 2/3rds of our Crew on-site to complete the finishing stage of our home. That includes everything!! When it's said and done we will see what was our dream home take shape but yet never be able to officially move in. This wasn't the easiest of decisions but we need to grow and advance ourselves for our children's future and our crewmembers families. we have an obligation to them and we don't want to let rhem down. Sometimes in life we have to make sacrifices. It's a strategic move and as before it will only help us to grow. We've been in such high demand that we need to provide more working capital and more equipment to keep up with the demand.

I saw this happening you are bound to expand màybe for some projects you can do consulting if you cant take them on. Dont forget to relax once in a while, but what you're building is definitely something you can leave as legacy to your children.

Armstrong family you will be very successful. Build and sell a quality home is a great business. Very few trustworthy builder out there .That is your stamp quality honest builder.
DO NOT SELL YOUR HOUSE! Consider this alternative, secure 3 hard contracts (with contingencies) and take it to a bank and ask for a loan with your house as collateral. Borrow only as much as you need to secure the contracts. Many small businesses do this to help them with growth. But selling your dream home is not the way to go.I retired and live in Vietnam, built my home here. Please don't let that home get away from you. You can have the best of both worlds. I strongly recommend this way to proceed.

I think they are stuck in a cycle of not being happy with what they have and always looking to go bigger and that is a dangerous cycle to be in. You can find yourself with nothing to show for all your sweat and tears.

Myself and my wife spent three months touring the Philippines recently, as we are looking to settle there, and we were very fortunate to meet the Armstrong family. From just our brief visit we were very impressed with the quality of the build, and the temperature variance from the outside and inside was very impressive to say the least. Visiting Richard and his family convinced us this building design is the way we want our house to be mainly due to the thermal properties of the products they have used, and will save us and the new owners a lot of money every year in energy costs. What also stood out from our visit was the peace and quiet of the area and also the natural beauty of the area where this home is located at the time of our visit. The one thing that is hard to appreciate is the size of the house, as it really does not show that truly in the video, and is far larger than is shown in the video. Overall the quality of the build is far superior to most if not all that we saw in the Philippines, and with the added benefit of being off grid this is ideal. As for our family, we are looking to locate in the mountain area, as we loved the views in the area and with our hobbies this would be ideal. This is an amazing house built to a very high standard by people that are passionate about what they do, and we know after meeting them, that having to make a decision to sell the house to expand their business must have been a tough one but to meet their goals in life we totally understand your decision, as you have a great opportunity to grow and develop a successful business, which needs capital unfortunately. We wish the Armstrongs every success in their new adventure and hope to see you guys again in December when we return.

It’s common sense. I’m still amazed people use single wall hollow block which gives no thermal properties. No thermal roofing or walls is a receipe for a very uncomfortable living.

In the Netherlands, I know a businessman who buys old houses, let us renovate it(yes I also work part time in construction), he will move in those houses and sometimes have them rented and most of the time hold them for higher value and finally sell them at relatively high margin..He has now more than 5 houses in stock waiting to be sold. It is very profitable and it helps me and buddies a lot financially.. In your case you build it from scratch, you live in it and sell and in the process you are helping a lot in the economy, community , therefore I can relate in your story.. I think you will succeed, keep on with the business model with the heart, with a social responsibility embedded into it.. Solid subscriber here from Bolinao and The Hague..

It's been a very tough decision indeed. If we didn't have a long term goal or direction we would definitely not be selling.
