Man I just got flares thought gmc would fit Chevy was going to install today bud thought I better check because I watched this video last night and yah they don't fit so now I got a return and get the right one

Chevy and GMC have different shaped fenders.

I see the link says they are for a Sierra 1500, are they the same for 2500hd? I see you installed on a 2500

I see it says nothing about a 2500HD but they fit fine. I believe the body was the same in that generation.

it’s a real shame seeing the rust on your dads truck I worry my new 22 colorado will be a rusted out typical gm vehicle before you know it . Gm paint is crap and they don’t even paint all the body parts . My inner fenders and the middle of my hood in the engine bay area only has primmer no paint and the paint on the whole truck looks thin . I also noticed while installing my foot steps the rockers under the truck were only primed no paint . I do rust proof my vehicles so helpful it slows it down .the shop i go to use dura shield like krown with out the drips

If you get Fluid Film inside all your fenders on a new truck, I don't see why it would ever rust out. Buying used you are at the mercy of the last owners. Did they wash during the winter or not? Did they use some type of Fluid Film inside the fenders? Most of the time the answer is no.

@@mossman381 instead of Fluid flim i’m thinking of buying a few cans of Crc heavy duty corrosion inhibitor it’s like cosmoline but cheaper then RP -342 . Being i’m up her in Canada and both products are American Rp-342 sellers want $30+ for shipping vs free shipping on the crc . Fluid flim is now $17.99 a can before the 13% tax we have to pay and it washes off easily where the cosmoline doesn’t .The guy i use does a good job he even removed the tail lights but these guys always seem to miss some spots
