    • @katewalters210
      @katewalters210 Год назад +1

@@shawnaa02593 Maybe by realizing overthinking actually makes you lose control on the situation? I'm an overthinking machine too so I know how it feels. But, like Mel said, the "What if's" loops actually makes you feel worse, will thinking "What if it all works out?" actually allows you to breathe and find solutions for everything. And if what you're constantly thinking about is not something you can control anyway, then you can think to yourself, "What's the problem about? What can I do to overcome it and where do I start?" and your brain will calm down because it knows where to start. It knows it can do something, in other words, it knows it's in control. This is the opposite of anxiety!

Mel I wanted to share my story with you.5 years ago back in Iran,I was sitting on my bed feeling hopeless and frustrated. As a woman I felt I was stuck in that country.I wanted to do something for my life but I didn’t have the courage to take action. Then I found you on RUclips and started watching your videos multiple times.Your insights changed my mode of thinking dramatically and the funny thing is that they were super profound but easy to apply at the same time.Because of your insights,I got out of Iran and made it to Turkey and after 2 years I got the admission for a PhD program here in the US.Now I live a life I was dreaming about.I have freedom as a woman.I have confidence as a human being and I have the power to support my family. Not only Am I surviving but also thriving.Thank you Mal,I appreciate you from the very bottom of my heart.

I'm a nervous wreck from not having a job (tight financial situation). A thought of getting a job that rips me out of my comfort zone, my bubble, my home, from my beloved hobbies... gives me just as bad, if not worse, anxiety. I overthink everything, I'm so afraid of messing something up because I don't understand it... I should change things in my life... but I just couldn't be arsed to do it. I may start, but give up in a few days.

The thing that helped me the most move through the subconscious programming that led to being a procrastinator was adding heart-brain coherence to my daily spiritual routines.
Learning how to vibrate at the elevated frequency of gratitude and appreciation connects you with the universe as science is now proving; the quantum field has the same frequency as the human heart in elevated emotions which is why we feel grateful when we receive...the universe GIVES everything so the E-motion we experience matches that universal field and when that frequncy match happens everything changes. the subconscious then goes about creating your dreams into reality..and part of that is your inspiration (inspire = in Spirit) soars and you do the right actions, you stop procratinating or whatever you subconscious block is....and you show up in the world differently more conducive to manifesting your dreams..etc....so the question is CAN YOU BE GRATEFUL FOR A REALITY THAT HASN'T YET HAPPENED? That is the secret. Happy holidays everyone.

I’ve spent the last five years in an industry talking about starting a business in the same industry. I have learned it inside out upside down and backwards. But I’ve always been so scared of failure I stopped myself for one BS reason or the other. Today I am in business. I took that step. And then taking that step amazingly my fears seem to be wiped away. Taking action unlock something in you. The world is your oyster. So excited! Bring on the challenges.

I went from being a confidence, action person to overthinking and decision paralysis….these are common effects of major losses in life and grief. We didn’t get time to think or prepare at the time, stay strong, be kind to yourself, sending you good wishes for your future 🙏

I received blood work results and 99% of everything I wanted to change was so much better.....all except for one. My sugers were bad, really bad and my wonderful P.A. told me if I didn't cut out a ton of sugar I was going to end up with diabetes and this was 2-1-22. On 2-2-22 I gave up sugar and I did just that one thing. In 3 months I had lost 30lbs and like 4 sizes in cloths. Just choosing that one thing helped my Fibromialga pain so very much I am shocked.
Just changing one thing changed so many more things for my life and I love it!!!

1:40 two types of people - I use to be the first person mentioned that jumps onto opportunity when it arrives then mental illness hit from becoming a mother with changed hormones. Now that my hormones are finally settling down with my kids more independent, I am getting back to that person that goes as soon as that light turns green. It's hard when others depend on you in various areas (emotional, mental, financial, physical and so on).

@@ionelascheul4984 🤗 I hope it gets better. Remember, we are eternal souls having a human experience. Once I really grasped who I am beyond space and time, changed everything for me. I no longer give a crap about what others think of me. I know who I am and my relationship to Yeshua HaMashiach - and that is all that matters. The Spirit has many times placed a shield of love and positivity around me when a family member tried to bring me down. There is an unseen evil in this world that will use our friends and family to get at us because that unseen evil can't stand those who belong to Christ. Since my husband and kids deny Christ - the enemy tries to get at me through them. I won't have any of it anymore. I just love on my family all the more - confusing the hell literally out of them to the point - the evil no longer influence my family. Love truly wins out. When I chose to radiating unconditional love and the light of Christ - my family started to change for the better. I stopped judging my family and instead - banishing the enemy from even getting my family. Truly the enemy is unseen not human. Don't let your family fall prey to the enemy. Free them from it by radiating love and light. This war is almost over. People are waking up. Soon the veil will be lifted and this invisible war will become visible. Our loved ones will see the enemy in the flesh - Revelation 9 and 11

The instructors voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to. I am easily able to sit successfully through the entire CD, and for quite some time after. Contrary to what people think, pushing the mind too much and too fast only creates a habit of rushing and striving. Rushing is another form of going nowhere. Books like the Tao Te Ching, and workbooks on amz like 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels are nice resources for slowing down the monkey mind.

@@bluecatjay5229 I hope you can change job place soon, or maybe find additional ways to co-op with that situation.
I feel with you. I have been in a similar situation and some colleagues /employers can seem so great at the application interview and then with time change or turne out to be negative /unreliable (my former boss was lying so much)/ draining. It is not healthy to stay and keep on working there, buuut
it can also be really hard to find, apply & get a new job.
I find video like this one and other positive input helpful for me too. Just to balance things.
And guided meditation (YT or any app) even a 5 or 10 minutes one at the lunch break or om my comute (🚌) also helps me some days.
Don't give up! Hope you find a more positive work eventually. I wish you good luck! :)

@@bluecatjay5229 Oh wow I totally understand that fear. I thought I could never really trust an employer again, especially since in my field it's almost always small businesses and never an HR /union or something similar to look out for the employees... And frankly I did change but I'm not happy where I am now either, but at least it is a change I try to see it as a step to something better. Meanwhile I'm searching for a better work place.

If you are stuck. I really advise you to watch Bob Proctor's material. Read his books. Watch his trainings. He teaches Paradigms. It's your Paradigm which is keeping you stuck. Changing that is a life long process.

So true...if it's too complicated I won't try it. Even with the knowledge to be happier etc. ❤️ to all.

  • @AlexDiesTrying
    @AlexDiesTrying 2 года назад

I don't care about complicated. I care about: how much uncertainty I can tolerate? And when that amount has become almost zero, no amount of simplicity makes a difference. I just falter. Immediately. And everything gets destroyed before my eyes and I can only think about getting out of this perpetual hell of failure, shame and guilt by dying. And I don't even have the courage to do that. So far.
I don't deserve to live anymore. And no blind disagreeing, making me wrong, making sure I know that you have no clue about me or my brain or my nature will change that. Only consistent action will change that.

Sometimes it’s information overload (especially since the Internet and social media became so dominant in our lives) that causes people to freeze rather than act. Hard to sort through all the advice and options to know what’s actually best to do.

Informative video. Be careful what you feed your mind. To feel better reduce negative thoughts and overthinking. Avoid comparing, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed, avoid moving too much and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, when reading, in the kitchen, when taking a walk etc -----anytime-anywhere. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Really mindless comments here, what in the world?
I love Mel especially in this video (which distills her philosophy)
    as she’s a tell-it-like-it-is teacher.
I’ve tried the 5-4-3-2-1! Didn’t do anything, possibly not understanding it correctly 🤷🏿‍♀️
I’ve gotten little done in my life that I set out to do as a child; now, I’m 57. Wanted to direct films, be a professional dancer, write.
I grew up with torture and still am living through a nightmare.
I sleep and eat to fill the darkness and numb out.
    I’m a vegan, animal activist
    now
so talk about feeling alone and seeing the worst in humans.
I teach Yoga and didn’t finish my undergrad degree in theater education so I could teach theater to juvenile delinquents.
I’ve been hated and abused by every man I’ve been with except
my dead ex-husband who also was tortured and abandoned like me.
    Biggest mistakes were
divorcing him and not being an animal activist sooner.
Our four children all of whom have children of their own now (not one of them even let me know they married or had children and I heard one of my grandchildren died,
    no one let me know)
were turned against me years ago in large part by my mother. They do nothing for me.
I am very giving and do everything I can for everyone
    and don’t connect to
    anyone.
I’ll be moving back to Maine soon to save animals and be away
    from humans.
They’re such a destructive, bizarre species.
    😞💔🙏🧘🏿‍♀️
