The use of Cow fats on natural hairs started long time ago by our grandparents,they use it as a moisturizer or moisture sealer on their hairs just like Shea butter. BEEF TALLOW,is very simple to prepare,it contains lots of animal vitamins which you can’t find in tree fruits. So if you are a beef eater,you can also get some fats from cow butchers to prepare beef tallow for your natural hair.

Southerners in the U.S use to use animal fats such as pig lard an beef fat for hair for years i use it mixed with amongst other things an it makes your hair strong, bouncy and thick!

Yeah. I use crisco for candles but the oils made with it are low quality so would rather use saturated fats such as beef tallow on skin and hair. Lanolin too.

Thank you for sharing this. So much of the information available about hair oils/fats is about vegetable or seed based oils. I have been eating carnivore or keto for almost 3 years and wondered if there were animal based products that worked with curly or wavy hair.

Usually the one we use in the north is “man shanu”(butter/ghee) extracted from fresh cow milk but it has a very strong smell. But I personally use “kakide”(sheep tallow) for my natural hair. Smells better than man shanu

our hair need grease ..much grease and good grease...this leave our hair hidrated and soft.i like it and where i live i dont find product for my hair.i buy beef to eat and i put this grease in y hairrrr

Haha 😂,yea I understand but you have to boil /cook it to an extent,prepare the fat yourself then add some essential oils to help it smell good. You don’t have to use it raw.
