Afar are the most beautiful people of Ethiopia. The skin, hair and white teeth are everything. Did I mention the men are tall and gorgeous. The men only marry within their tribal group they won’t even marry other fellow Ethiopians. Preserving their culture and history. I remember when the Afar people use to come to my town to sell their products. As a young girl I loved getting my hair braided by one of the Afar women when they came to town for the Saturday market.

I'm from northern kenya and my own clan too are divided into three neighbouring country of kenya,Ethiopia and somalia in what's known as the mandera triangle. We cushitic people are descendants of ancient Egyptian. We still keep the culture and dress but we couldn't be noticed due to racism which engulfed history and civilization.

Ethiopian people are gorgeous! Wondered into a store in downtown L.A. 30 years ago, because they had some cool things on window display. Walked to back of store where a group of men were sitting on the floor , around a rug or cloth that had a main dish and they were tearing off pieces of flat bread and scooping the food from the pot. I inquired as to what the food was as it smelled delicious. Right away all of them invited me to try it. I love trying new food. It was so…. good! I forgot what the name was. They were the only Ethiopian people I ever met, and they were generous, inviting and kind. My friend did not want to try because she was squimish about eating with hands, her loss. More for me!

Wow I’m here in Oklahoma in usa and I make my own raw butter from milk from a local farmer. I only eat it tho but I have amazing skin like them and hair!
I wish I could know what RAW shea butter is like.. Seems like it's difficult to find
Whole Foods has always carried raw Shea butter so hopefully you have one in your area.

That’s GHEE. The East Indian people eat it. IDK if they use it on their hair as well though. EDIT:yes. They use it in their hair as well. It is a moisturizing conditioner.

There is vegan butter. I have some vegan "I can't believe it's not butter" in my fridge now. I also use the avocado 🥑 oil butter 🧈 . Avocado is great for hair
