    More from what's been called "The best Bach organ in America". Not only great sounding, but great looking too. (Thanks to highly skilled cabinet makers). From Chicago, U.S.A.

    Bravó, Karosi úr! Ez igazán izgalomba hozta a lelkemet, ahogy Bach minden zenének szánta. Köszönöm a remek előadást.

    Dear Mr. Karosi, Many of us admire what you do, your musicality, your registration skills, your interpretations, and the quality of your videos. On this subject, could you one day, in another video, describe your equipment for the video, for the sound recording, and for the making of the videos? Thank you in advance.

    I've only heard this prelude performed in a somber and quiet register by Simon Preston, so it really is interesting to hear in another more rambunctious style. Loved it, beautiful organ and amazing performance!

      For yet another way of performing BWV 536 check out the performance by Marko Sever on the Beauty in Sound channel. He goes for dignity and grandeur. All three approaches are equally valid and it's fascinating to hear the same piece sounding so different.

    The organ seems to be tuned a halftone higher, so the piece sounds in b-flat major.

    Mi piace moltissimo il tuo modo "umile" di suonare, con grandissimo rispetto per la musica di Bach e per lo strumento che hai la fortuna di poter suonare. Le tue intepretazioni sarebbero da prendere come modello per molti altri organisti arroganti che capita di ascoltare su RUclips. Bravo!

    • @alexmandelli3994
      @alexmandelli3994 2 года назад

      credo che con un organino così non potrebbe essere "arrogante" nemmeno volendo. Esecuzione pulita comunque

    I would have liked more legato in the fugue - it is quite vocal and there is lots of stepwise movement. If the prelude is played a bit slower, it balances the fugue more.

    Hi Balint, my name is Melissa Ware and I am wondering what it is called when you are playing one key board that is making the other key board play in synchronicity? Does it have a specific name?

    • @bkarosi
      @bkarosi  3 месяца назад

      Hi Melissa, I think you mean when I couple the two manuals? It is called the coupler. On this organ you can see the other manual’s keys depressed at the same time as the one I am playing. That is a manual coupler. There is also a pedal coupler when I play the manuals from the pedal board. You may add me on Whatssup or Messenger if you have more questions 😊

    Penso che la tua sia un’interpretazione che rende giustizia a questo brano, uno dei miei preferiti di Bach. Se mi posso permettere: il preludio lo farei un tantino meno virtuosistico e un po’ più pensato musicalmente. Al suo interno vi sono tanti e tali accorgimenti ritmici da giustificare un po’ di agogica in più.
    Per contro trovo molto giusto il tempo che hai preso per la fuga: solenne e cantabile, come dev’essere. Anche qui, se posso, tralascerei quegli abbellimenti iniziali che appesantiscono un tema così pulito e cantabile, quasi di corale, che col suo incedere incessante e solenne, tra le varie parti vocali, fino allo stretto finale, porta la magniloquenza di questo poco eseguito preludio e fuga a vette inaccessibili.
