The choice of organ, Stops and tempo is correct. Unfortunately, I have heard this Prelude too often at a high tempo with too many fundamental Stops, so that it sounds very washed out. Without proper articulation.
When I was a kid I used to go and visit this organ frequently, still one of my absolute favorites in the world. There is no combination of stops that doesnt work well.
