Another great video Hobbyist! Very detailed and informative. Certainly in your case moving from small to mid-level ops with multiple locations you need the org. But I have been considering NiceHash too with the HiveOS pricing hitting us "in-betweeners". My question: you or any one out there running using Windows to run their Octominer rigs?
I have heard of people trying to run Octominers on Windows and Struggling. NicehashOS might be a good alternative.

Nice video need some advice which BTC miner do you recomend for a home miner prefer low watt. And does nicehash support auto switch oc for gpus😅
Only Low Watt Bitcoin Miners out there for home miners are Solo Miners. Canaan just came out with the Nano 3 at 4TB at 140W, for solo mining.
Check mid way through the video will find an entire section on NICEHASOS for GPUS that talks about Algo and OC Auto Switching.
i dunno why i cant set oc setting on nhos, its always revert back to default, after set oc for each gpu, i click aplly/test, it will in test status unless io click stop test, and try to apply the oc and it come back to default
You have to go to your bundle manger and create a "bundle" with all your OC settings. Then you must apply the bundle, hopes this helps
Would 4 l3+ be worth it nowadays? I have some near me for 100$ each just cant find to much about it nowadays. Would it be a good beginner asic miner?

Thanks, I will give it another shot. Last time I checked their Linux OS months ago, overclocking per algo for GPUs with autoswitch was unusable and bundles didnt work right. Spent about 6 hours trying to make an 8 card 3070 rig stable and gave up. I was waiting for them to release an update, but didnt see anything recently, maybe they patched holes without official releases or maybe I just missed it, fingers crossed. Works well for asics, super simple.
I have been very pleased with it! Eager to see their Community Bundles added.
I spent a week getting a 3070 rig stable on nicehash OS. As far as I can tell they have really long wait times between their OS updates. I dont know if they do any small upgrades in between. I have never noticed any version changes for I think over a year now. Also there support team for the OS is pretty bad too. I send them a log one time and said the system worked flawlessly on Hive, but seems to crash a couple of times a day on Nicehash OS and they just told me to mine to nicehash from Hive 🤣🤣🤣. The whole point of me wanting to use nicehash os is for the profit switching. But once you get your rig dialed in on nicehash os it tends to be stable for a looonnggg time. They have greatly improved there os from version 1.xxxx to this 2.xxxx version, so not all bad news, but their update frequency is glacial vs Hive OS updates.

Nice hash also gets hacked, steals millions from miners and then repays them back over years and years. I WOULDNT trust them .
the only huh moment I had was... dang you have a lot of miners on Nicehash. I have only 2 rigs on it and I don't do half the stuff you do on it. Ya da Man....woof!
In the video they were all BTC miners, I just moved over a few Alt Coin Miners. Hoping to stack some more bitcoin.
