In the past year I lost my passion for reading for various reasons, but mainly because of the pandemic and grad school. I'm still not in the mood to read anything and it sucks. I got so much stuff to do and to read for grad school, that I could literally cry 😭 for the past year I've read so many academic reads and books, texts etc, that I made me hate reading. I don't have the energy anymore to read for fun in my free time. And I soo get it, what you said about romance books. I was always this person, who said "I'll never read a romance, because xyz" and this year I read my first one, and it was SO MUCH FUN. It was just so nice, to read something fun and reaxing! Ooohh and I want to read Books of Jacob as well, but for some reasons the Polish copy is suuuper expensive 🙄 it's also super fun to hear you say, that she may be your fav author, because she's def mine and it's just so nice to see people reading her books, because she's a fantastic author! sorry for the long comment 🙈
