    Not the issue I have - but still a really clear and helpful video. Thank you! More people like you sharing these things hopefully means we can stop so much waste in the world. And tool libraries! 🙏 👍💪

    3:30 hi there. what is the value of that fuse (size volts amps etc)?

      I do not known the size of the fuse. Usually voltage and amps are very low with these. If you have fixed your short you can use a thin wire to replace the fuse.

    How can I make this with using soldering iron? I don't have hot air.

    • @modernfix1

      you will need hot air because under the ship is a grounding pad also that needs to be reflowed.

    I'm having motion control issues with my Yoshi Wiimote rn.💀😤😭 This might be the video I need to fix my wiimote.😊 Does this work on nunchucks too?🤔

    • @modernfix1
      @modernfix1  4 месяца назад

      I do not know. I have not opened a nunchuck before. Never had any issue with them. But you can try. If you have hotair station it does not hurt to try. Most likely there sensor on that also.

      @@modernfix1 Still haven't tried, but this was the only video I've found talking about possible solder cracks.

      @@natanteam Well if you think about how these are used. Usually they are used pretty hard. thrown around the room when you lose. This will cause a crack solder joint.

    How do i know if the chip is broken, or if i need to resolder the board? do you know if and where i can get a replacement chip?

    • @modernfix1
      @modernfix1  11 месяцев назад

      I did not make any diagnostic on the chip since I took a lucky guess that it may have crack solder joint. Since these get very heavy use and get dropped a lot. This chip is the one that controls the motion. If you have another controller you swap that chip from a working one to make sure that the ship is the faulty one. Usually take a look at the markings on the chip and search from e.g. aliexpress or ebay. These are the places where I usually buy my spare parts.
