Hey folks! This is my first full-length project video, hope you like it. Feel free to subscribe for more, or leave feedback here on what I can do with the channel to make it even better :D
Oh wow! I didn’t realize how little views you had, I honestly thought this video was so well put together and honestly thought you had alot of subscribers and yet you only have 70. I hope one day you’ll become a bigger channel!
Echoing what another person said, you definitely deserve more subscribers. That was a great breakdown! I'll be using your breakdown to try and fix two of my Wiimotes
"Water and electronics don't mix." This is one of the biggest myths holding back proper cleaning of boards. Electricity and water don't mix (it can lead to galvanic corrosion), and electronics that remain wet for a long time can corrode. Water and soap are an excellent means to clean electronics so long as there is no power connected, the parts are rinsed clean to get rid of soap, and then are dried thoroughly afterwards. IPA should only be used for stubborn messes.
Great vid, well done and earned a subscriber! Will echo others, deserve more subs. Question: what/how would you recommend for removing scratches from the lens cover?
2:03 well, you snapped this one too. We can see the plastic bit fall off the remote later in the video. These Remotes are so hard to open without destroying them, I wish there was a 100% reliable way to open them without ruining them
I used this guide to help clean my Wii remote because it wasn’t turning on, but even after I cleaned it, it still didn’t turn on. Do you know what the issue might be?
My Wiimote was very poorly treated (because I was like 6-8 when I played mainly on the Wii) so the battery corrosion got so bad, it reached the part in the casing, and I couldn't lift it to clean the insides because the screws were so corroded that they became impossible to use.

My originals Wii remote was dead for more than a decade. I followed your instructions and both are now ressurrected! Very thanks

Fixed my original wii controller. 2 button was less responsive. The contact was super dirty.

Very informative and entertaining as well as professional. Will definitely try it with my old black wiimote. Subbed!
The minus, home and plus buttons have a contact silver pad with a tape. Take care when brushing to not take then off.
New sub ! Great video ! :)
I Hate wii motes those two front clips break so dang easily even if you try to be gentle
