I think people misunderstand the "dangerous marine smell", I think it is called that because it is very intimate and bewitching and thats what lowers the fans defense. I think I have seen a clip or two of her talking about sweat in an erotic sense.

Pekora is pretty busted on 3 weapon build. Her lvl 7 main weapon scales off of coins so greed is basically her best stamp paired with Usaken and Shiraken. She doesnt need healing items as long as she has superchatto. Her main weapon has good damage, but lacking in coverage. (low rate of fire, no pierce) This is where other weapons come in.
noel is the most broken char so far out of the new ones from my testing. if you go main weapon only then build her with piki piman full tank shes basically ultra tanky and does aoe dmg of 2-3k

with Marine you can easily earn 150000 coins in a single run just saying.
