Nice to see that you got a Monka in for review. I´ve seen that brand over at AliExpress, but I had never seen anyone review one before, so I was skeptical about the quality. They have a 65% board that I have in my favorites. Now I just might get it. It would have been nice to see you open it, just to see the internals. You know, the foams, and to see if the PCB and plate have flex cuts or not. If they don´t, I would try a foam-less, clacky build on it. Anyway, great review as always. Pura vida!! (yes it me, new user name lol)

The build is quite similar, the software, also similar, the weight, only 30g of difference, same capacity battery, the Gamakay has Cherry keycaps the Marvo has OEM, and the Gamakay is currently $79 with the coupon code in the description of the video, so I'd lean towards that, though both are very nice.

I like the poppy sound the keyboard makes. Also, the keycaps are just about perfect with a bit of color to accent the board.

Thanks for watching! I do plan a longer video when I will tear it down, also comparing it to other similar 75% boards and their constructions.
I am between this and the lebog hi75 that you have also done a review, between the two which one would you choose? 😬
That's tough, I like them both, but if forced, I think I would pick this one because of the standard knob and the F13/Del key.

You need to switch to wired mode, the key combination is in the user manual which I do not have handy.

If you can find the hi8 I would probably go with that one but this one is nice as well and I don't think you'd be unhappy with it.

@@cormacc7 No, they are not the same board. The Monka has an F13/Delete key next to the knob, the Hi8 does not.
