Do you know if these boards can take other LP switches?

Hi i wanted to know if i can add masking tape or electrical tape because most people told me that you cant use masking tape on keyboards with battery they told me to use electric tapeso i wanted to be sure if i can use masking or electric tape

I got a set of Purple Pros to try out, like them a lot, maybe my favorite tactile now

Funny thing is, I always turn out to swap the spacebar switch with a Piano Pro! :D They're nice and smooth and long pole so the stabilizers (or even the spacebar itself) won't bottom out, giving an even and clean sound and feel.

I haven't tried building any keyboards yet. I still haven't even decided whether I prefer linear or clicky switches. edit: I should say linear or "tactile" but I've only tried Kailh Brown switches and Red linear so my next keyboard will be clicky.

I do like the form factor and the font but it is a "cheesy" keyboard, heh. It would probably make for a good conversation starter at work or on a stream. In the Amazon link there are three much more subdued versions though.

Hello sir your vidio is good, but i have some problem with my GMK81, my keyboard can't connect to the VIA app (website and apps), when i click the authorization device is doesn't do anything, do you know the problem I'm having?

Thanks for the review. I like the form factor, 75% is a good size for wireless or wired and the 5000mHa battery should last awhile. The color scheme is good too because it's still legible in low light even with the RGB turned off. Sometimes you don't want your desk looking like a rave or a 70's disco with all the RGB.

Why is my red switch making a click sound? It doesn't seem like a natural click like a switch problem

I have got blue switch k652 keyboard. Would like to change in to something else. Which brand switches are the best. I am more like a brown switch person.

Acetone is completely safe on HDPE and PP, but those are used very little in keyboards. Good for containers though. I would expect mostly ABS is used in quality keyboards for its strength and how well it cleanly can be presicion molded. ABS djssolves relatively quick in acetone. Acetone-free nail polish remover mainly uses ethylacetate, which isnt quite as aggressive, but it too can damage many plastics - including ABS. Maybe the plastic shown bere isnt ABS, or maybe the ethyl acetate just isnt dissolving enough material for there to be a problem before the logo is gone. My point is that you should always try to identify the plastic when possible. Plastics can react wildly different to various chemicals. If in doubt, use a clean cotton pad with some of the solvent on a safe spot like maybe the underside and rub it gently for a few seconds. If you see any of the color transferring to the pad then you are likely dealing with a plastic that is reactive to that solvent.

how's the latency while gaming on 2.4ghz

can it run on wired mode? if it does, does it charge in that timpe period?

I cannot get the VIA app or website (using Chrome) to 'see' the GMK87! I have tried BT and USB (connected directly to motherboard and not via a hub) on both PC and Mac! Chrome has it showing and I give permission, but then nothing happens. I have updated the firmware as per your download (thanks) and managed to update the clock (thanks again). Any help please as I really want to set macros for work!

Hi, is this keyboard's body plastic?

Just spotted this the other day. Big fan of wood cases, both my daily boards are wood built on GH60 platform as loads of case choice with that. Think this is one of the few pre-built and probably from a company people have heard of :) Looks good apart from the caps. A nice BOW or WOB colourway set go well with wood

Oh man, tray mounted steel plate, oof. For $180 that's quite a bad look. I can't imagine using a different mounting or a different plate material would've changed the cost that much. Also the software is absolutely lackluster. What a letdown.

Good evening! Sometimes I feel sorry for people who sit on an old membrane keyboard for 10 years, glad that they are such tricksters - since their keyboard does not break for so long. They had never even heard about the versatile world of sound, softness, and pressing force of mechanical keyboards. And mechanical keyboards have such a large selection and I think this market will only grow, and this is not counting the gigantic selection of keycaps and switches. Six months ago I was sitting on the old membrane Genius. Thank you for your efforts!

I have the original Techware Phantom 87k. All I've done is lube it and swapped the caps after wearing the originals down. Paid under $50 originally. Been very happy with it. Compared to some much more expensive Corsair and Cooler Master Keyboards i've had in the past, I just don't see enough drawbacks on the Techware to justify spending 3x the price anymore.

Amazon has these for $35 (red switches) so I ordered one. I can confirm bad Bluetooth performance. To my gaming PC with B650 motherboard with BT 5.2 and antenna attached. From less than 4ft away is drops out contently.

There's so many versions of these😅. My brother and I both have the non Elite or Plus versions but his came with Akko switches and mine came with Outemu's, that's the only difference. The Akko switches does feel smoother though. The mods I did to mines were Tape mod and Band aid mod under the stabs. I originally did the Holee mod but it made the spacebar to mushy for my liking so I removed it. The sound profile improved a lot but it's not consistent, for example the backspace is a nice creamy thocky while the tab key is clanky thocky and it varies between those two throughout the keyboard.

I'm using heat shrink tubing, shrinks down perfectly and the outside layer gets smooth like teflon after shrinking.

I just got this. Badmark, can you help me figure out how to have a static color lighting? I've been cycling this and I couldn't make it to be static purple or pink.

have you disassembled the keyboard yet? if you did, were there any plate or case foam inside? i ordered the m68 and wanted to know that to know if i needed to buy more foam

I even tried with some thicker pink plumbers tape and it works really well. Heaps better than a sticky bandaid

I do have a question. Do the Redragon wireless 2.4Ghz keyboards go into a sleep mode (exactly like Bluetooth) after 30 minutes of non use? I'm not talking about just the LED's but response to any key press. I have about a half dozen wireless 2.4Ghz keyboards and some are always "on" ready for any input while others go into sleep mode after 30 minutes. Even my Epomaker Shadow-X goes into sleep mode after 30 minutes on 2.4Ghz . With the Epomaker software you can change it to 60 minutes, but It's still annoying, otherwise it's an excellent keyboard.
