Thanks so much for this review! I haven't used this yarn before and was looking to see if it's what I'm looking for and you saved me the cost. Again, I appreciate that ;) I'm off to check out more of your videos, Sunshine
I bought a bunch of these on clearance from Joann's a month ago. Yesterday was the first day I used it to learn how to c2c a scarf. I found it really stiff and scratchy when it was worked up. I am hoping it will soften up after washing like others have stated about Red Heart. I do like the colors and the color transitions. There were no knots and it was easy to crochet with.
Now I understand why I always pass the Sweet Rolls by... They just don’t excite me, in any way. I never really like the colors, the feel, or the size of this product. I make a lot of baby/preemie and Angel blankets, as well as those adorable teeny weeny hats, and I prefer yarns that are softer, and have that “cuddle’ thing going on. I use a lot Lion Brand Baby Soft, and Ice Cream yarns...they become super soft after washing and rinsing in a fragrance free fabric softener, Thanks for another great yarn review...
Hi! I know this is over 2 years old, but I just found some of this yarn in my storage, but I think they got sunbleached? Has anyone else had this issue?
Thank you for showing the yard I going to try the yard

That's too bad, I didn't find it too scratchy... it just didn't wow me in any particular way. Thanks for the feedback and for watching!
I like combining sweet roll with a softer yarn (like red heart hopscotch), and it looks and feels really nice.
That's a great suggestion! Thanks for watching!
I’ve used this a lot and very affordable for my needs for the kids toys and winter ware 🙏🏻♥️
What did you think of it? How have the items held up? Kids are great wear testers! Thanks for watching!
Great thorough review.
Thank you!

Thank you for the yarn review.

I really don’t like an abrupt color change. That’s why I like gradients.
Some patterns hide it better than others, but I agree abrupt color changes can be a pain other times.
I want to make a hat or scarf. Need pattern
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
And you don’t see pretty greens very often.
Agreed nice greens can be really tough to find
