WOW, some are very bright. In your making the sampler blanket, I would finish off each cake, turning the rectangles into the blanket. Your time is too precious to frog.
Thank you so much for continuing to create the swatches!!! I’m in love with this as I have a very colorful personality. I really like bright colors. I think they inspire and bring joy!!! I think they would be nice to make throws for senior’s and children…endless possibilities.
The idea of a blanket is brilliant! The first thing I thought was a bag I’ve seen in a variety of tutorials. Some call it a rectangle bag or purse or windmill bag. You may take 4 complementary colors and just attach them together as is. Those brilliant colors will make it a standout bag. You’d never be lost in any crowd. Thanks for the samples… so helpful.
Wow….these colors are vivid and bright!! I would finish the samples and put the rectangles together for the blanket…..that’s a lot of work and time to have to take out. Thank you Glenda for showing us these color ways & how the colors work in the project. Have a blessed day!! 😊🦋
WOW!!! These are really VIVID! More colors in this roll than in the original. Only three colors in the original SWEET ROLL. Sweet roll fruits has more than 3 colors also, and dk sweet roll has more color also. Thank you, Glenda for sharing.
Glenda, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the swatches that you do. I've seen quite a few reviews for this yarn and didn't think I liked any of them. Then comes your review. The swatches bring the yarn colors alive, and I've seen 4 that I will be definitely ordering through your link.
I think your sampler blanket would be pretty with a black border. Thank you for taking the time to do samples for us to see how it works up. Have a good week Glenda.
I love that You take time to work up all these samples. I know it's very time-consuming but it really does help those of us who might want the yarn bar afraid to order it cuz we're not sure how it will really look when it's worked up.
Thank you for making up swatches it's really helpful. I agree with the other people that said to finish out the yarn boarder them and put them together. I hope you show what you decided to do. All the colors are pretty but I really like the dragonfly. I know you can get solid colors that match and I would probably add those in anyway thanks again.
Hi Glenda. This Yarn is pretty "vivid" in color. I like all of the colors but not sure about the black in the one cake. Do wish you got more for your money though. I agree, a blanket of all of your swatches would be beautiful. I'd love it. Thanks for reviewing and doing the swatches for us. Take care.
Hi Glenda, I ran into this unusual repeat pattern in another yarn but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. It's a little trickier to work with but it can give you a fantastic effect if you work it right. Thanks for going to so much work just to show it to us.
Hello Glenda!! Wonderful examples and I love them all but the primary vivid is gorgeous and the one I will be getting soon. Thank you so much for sharing!❤❤❤
Thanks Glenda for all your yarn swatches. I appreciate every one. These are no exceptions, I think you should just make your afghan/blanket with the rectangular ones instead of frogging half and build the other squares around them. (Just my opinion)
Wow the time you put into this one 👍👍👍👍. Thanks, I was very curious about this yarn and this gave 100% of the info I wanted. I would have bought colors I wouldn’t have liked and not bought the others. I appreciate the work you are doing! Thanks 🙏
Oh my !! I am SO GLAD I stopped on your VIVID pictures!! I have been TRYING for awhile to FIND the color way that I had used. I want to make my 'sample lapper' larger!! I really am pretty sure the VIVID you DIDN'Tmake a
Omg how gorgeous and definitely make a mixed swatch blanket, you could border a black or neutral around each swatch and run some them vertically and some horizontally would be stunning especially if you do the black...would look like a Mondrian painting ♥️ and have different sizes squares and rectangles
Thank you for showing yarn swatches. I just gotten back into crocheting and have made several blankets for my grandchildren and my daughter. Looking forward to making more blankets for my family a6have been looking for yarns and patterns that make up quickly.
I love all those colors Glenda and i think that is a great idea to make a throw or afghan out of your samples. Especially since the prices are through the roof. Im working on pot holders right now. I have a bunch of nine patch blocks im thinking of making into a quilt and found a bunch of flannel pajama pants that belonged to my grandsons and am think of using them to put on a flannel backing. No sense in wasting them.
Thank you so much for showing us how these work up. After seeing the samples I'm not interested in buying any of these. Also, as you said they are the same price as other cakes but, with less yardage. 🤔🤷🏼♀️ I look forward to seeing your sampler blanket. I wouldn't frog anything and I would use all of the yarn in the cake. Just make rectangles and call it a day. I'm sure you will make it an absolutely beautiful sampler blanket. 🤗 Thank you again for your time 🤗💖
Thanks again for the swatches. This is so helpful and I return to your channel often to review. Also love your patterns and have purchased several. Not sure about the vivid line. I agree the yardage should be the same as other sweet rolls. Have a great day.
Beautiful colors for sure! Appreciate your swatches! I’d make a sampler blanket as everyone has sad. Personally I don’t like the backward repeat so you’ve certainly saved me some $$! Premier is my favorite though, just not this one. So appreciate your reviews😊
The colors are "VIDID" but I don't think I would use it unless it was for a craft project. Thank you for your review and taking the time to work up the samples
Ms. Glenda, I always like to watch your swatch videos. 😊 I love Sweet Roll and these are really nice colors. I was tempted to buy some, but they’re similar to RHSS Stripes colors. I have all of the RHSS ones.
Hi Glenda I cannot wait to see the premiere Sweet Roll Vivid cakes and I can't wait to hear what you think of them? The eight different color ways really look like when it's crocheted up so let's begin and we're going to start it's the premier Sweet Roll Vivid Brand New by Premiere it comes in 174 yards 160 m 3.5 oz and 100 G it is classified as a number four medium weight yarn tumble dry I like that it has been tested and approved against 350 harmful substances and I love that it's machine wash and dryable now the price of the Sweet Roll Vivid is 599 a cake and they have eight different colors and I have all eight different colors to show you now the only thing I couldn't figure out probably because it's a new yard is that all your sweet rolls are 599 but they all have 5 oz except the Vivid it's still 100% of acrylic is basically the same yarn only you're getting Vivid bright colors so you get less yarn in the Sweet Roll Vivid than you do the regular sweet rolls so not sure why they cut down on the amount of yarn in the cake I think it would have been nice if they had the same amount of 5 ounces for the same price but because it's a new yarn I'm not sure why they did that now my experience with the premier sweet rolls the Vivid or any of the other ones it's a nice acrylic it's wonderful to work with basically about the same as most 100% acrylics so let's go ahead and take a look at the first colorway now the first color where I'm going to show you is primary this is the cake of yarn this is what it looks like and this is what it looks like worked up so this is color 21 00-01 primary you can see it has all these beautiful colors now this is how much I had left over because when I first started I was going to work until I seen the repeat start because I wanted to get the video done now some of these I worked almost all the way to the end but let's take a look I started with the light yellow it went to the gold orange red burgundy the darker blue than blue then a dark green green dark green and then you're going to see the colors are going to reverse to get to this dark green in the light green then it's going to go back to the dark green the blue the dark blue the burgundy and repeat the other way so you can see how it's just reversing once it gets to the green then it's going to reverse the other way and then when you look at the skin of yarn you're going to see it's going to go to the gold and then it's going to go back to the orange and then the burgundy and then the blue and then the dark green so it goes to the one color right here it reverses and then it's going to go to the gold and then it's going to go to the yellow and then it's going to reverse and start doing these colors back to the green because my bright idea. Dragonfly is beautiful! Neon signs is very fluorescent! So beautiful. I think it looks really cool with the reversal of colors! New color moon beam is so beautiful. Lava lamp is gorgeous! Glow worm is so beautiful! Again it's electric is gorgeous too. Catcher is really pretty I love the blues and greens and the purple! Helpful because you are swatches look amazing! Thank you Miss Glenda.
The colors are pretty and I appreciate you crocheting the swatches so we can see how it will look. I'm not a fan of the random blops of darker color in the lighter color areas that I have seen in several of the swatches that you did. Specifically in the Moonbeam cake where you show how it looks in the Half Double stitch and the griddle stitch. I saw it in several of the cakes and although they are beautiful, I'm not sure that I would be happy with that aspect of the dying process that they use. Thank you for doing this!
Thank you for showing the new yarn was wondering what it looked like not to thrilled with it it looks beautiful in the cake 😍 but I don't really know if I like it worked up.
Glow worm looks just like a RHSS Stripes. I can’t think of the color name off top of head...but I believe they are d/c’ing it. I LOVEtat color-way!!! It has such an awesome P.O.P...esp when you use blk w it as a 2nd/contrast. You can see when using blk, that the gradient doesn’t quite get to true blk, tho it’s close. So, glad to know I can still get it!!! I’ve made so many things w that color-way. Edit:RHSS also had tetra-color-way in their stripes...I have that one also.
Price Price Price! I think it’s over priced for just 3.5 oz. Especially when you get 5 oz. In the regular sweet roll. Like they say, yarn is only worth what you’ll pay for it. But thank you for all the samples you worked up.
Those rectangles would be perfect sewn together for a blanket as they are..... I think someone mentioned using up each of the cakes so that none is wasted and I'd agree with that OR just join them all end to end for a scrappy border like you would make a scrappy binding on a quilt. What stitch did you use please? It has beautiful definition, visual texture.
These really turned out beautiful. How did you know how wide to make them to make the stripes work. What stitch did you use, I don’t remember you telling us. Thanks for sharing you lovely samples
Great colors! Perhaps less yarn because vivid coloring is more expensive to create. Previous Sweet Roll colors are subdued and less defined in the roll. I love working with previous Sweet Roll. Hope same with these.
My bet is the reason there is only 3.5 oz in that skein is because of inflation just like we are getting less food at the store. We will probably be seeing that more in yarn
I used this yarn in a 3 panel hdc blanket. Made center panel wider than the two on either side and crocheted panels together. Self striping is expressed and doing a panel at a time makes handling work easier. Doing hdc in either front or back bars adds texture.
Would you please send me a copy of the pattern you have used with the PREMEIR yarn I LOVE the colorway of this yarn!! I started a lap pattern, but ran out of the yarn. Now that I have received more, I would like to finish... But I did not keep the pattern in my notes!! Won't do that again !! This pattern looks close enough to blend the two!! THANK YOU!!

WOW, some are very bright. In your making the sampler blanket, I would finish off each cake, turning the rectangles into the blanket. Your time is too precious to frog.
I like colors. These are great. I'd keep the rectangles. Maybe assemble in a log cabin pattern. Thanks for the work to do the review.
Thank you so much for continuing to create the swatches!!! I’m in love with this as I have a very colorful personality. I really like bright colors. I think they inspire and bring joy!!! I think they would be nice to make throws for senior’s and children…endless possibilities.
Those are definitely vivid colors! I really like seeing them side by side like that! Thanks for working them all up for us.
Love the bright colors! They will surely brighten someone's day.
The idea of a blanket is brilliant! The first thing I thought was a bag I’ve seen in a variety of tutorials. Some call it a rectangle bag or purse or windmill bag. Thank you for showing how it looks crocheted up. It is so helpful to determine which colour you want to purchase. ❤
Now that is VIVID! Thank you Glenda!
Wow….these colors are vivid and bright!!
I would finish the samples and put the rectangles together for the blanket…..that’s a lot of work and time to have to take out.
Thank you Glenda for showing us these color ways & how the colors work in the project.
Have a blessed day!! 😊🦋
Dragonfly is my favorite. Thank you so much for the samples Glenda, it definitely helps to see it worked up. 👍❤️
WOW!!! These are really VIVID! More colors in this roll than in the original. Only three colors in the original SWEET ROLL. Sweet roll fruits has more than 3 colors also, and dk sweet roll has more color also. Thank you, Glenda for sharing.
Those colours are very beautiful. Very colourful and gorgeous 😍
This is so pretty. Thank you for showing us this crocheted up, Glenda
Wow, that was a lot of work. Thank you for showing us these.
I love watching your swatches. can't wait to see you swatch blanket. It will be beautiful. Thanks and take care
Glenda, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the swatches that you do. I've seen quite a few reviews for this yarn and didn't think I liked any of them. Then comes your review. The swatches bring the yarn colors alive, and I've seen 4 that I will be definitely ordering through your link.
I imagine this would be a cute scarf and hat for kids.
Gorgeous colors! Love your idea of joining all the swatches together. I think it's going to be awesome❣
I think your sampler blanket would be pretty with a black border. Thank you for taking the time to do samples for us to see how it works up. Have a good week Glenda.
I love the bright colors of this yarn
That primary is gorgeous, would make a fantastic blanket using att these beautiful colors
I love that You take time to work up all these samples. I know it's very time-consuming but it really does help those of us who might want the yarn bar afraid to order it cuz we're not sure how it will really look when it's worked up.
I love this new yarn so beautiful 😍 🤩 👌 💕 thanks sweetheart 💗
Thank you for making up swatches it's really helpful. I agree with the other people that said to finish out the yarn boarder them and put them together. I hope you show what you decided to do. All the colors are pretty but I really like the dragonfly. I know you can get solid colors that match and I would probably add those in anyway thanks again.

Hi Glenda, You do such a thorough review of all the yarns you showcase and I appreciate it. It is invaluable when planning my projects. Thank you!
Pretty yarn. Looks like something a small child would like
Nice colors! I really like the dragonfly color. Great idea to make a sampler blanket. Have a great day!
Thank you Glenda, its always so helpful to see these swatches before buying. 💜
Beautiful colours! Wow…your blanket will be gorgeous! 😍
That is a beautiful and bright yarn .
Thank you for sharing the Vivid yarn and how it looks made up.
Thats alot of work, wow! Thanks for doing it! Hugs and Blessings!
Oh wow! That is so pretty. Thank you for working it up and sharing with US
Hi Glenda,
I ran into this unusual repeat pattern in another yarn but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. It's a little trickier to work with but it can give you a fantastic effect if you work it right. Thanks for going to so much work just to show it to us.
Cake yarns with color changes are their own breed! I can never figure out what to make with them except scarves and hats. Thanks for your video!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH, Glenda! 🎨🌈🎨🌈🎨🌈🎨🌈🎨 LOTS of effort on your part! 🤗👏👍🧶 Therese Pisarcik
Beautiful color ways. Great idea of putting them all together !
Love the Dragonfly cake! Would be a beautiful blanket ❤
Hello Glenda!! Wonderful examples and I love them all but the primary vivid is gorgeous and the one I will be getting soon. Thank you so much for sharing!❤❤❤

Hi Glenda. Beautiful yarn! Thank you for sharing 🙂
those are gorgeous, id love to make a patchwork blanket with those
Wow the time you put into this one 👍👍👍👍. Thanks, I was very curious about this yarn and this gave 100% of the info I wanted. I would have bought colors I wouldn’t have liked and not bought the others. I appreciate the work you are doing! Thanks 🙏

Beautiful colors!!! I want them all!
That Neon Signs is fabulous 🤩
I would like to have the companies make larger cakes available. But, these cakes are fun. I like how they reverse the colors.
I love all those colors Glenda and i think that is a great idea to make a throw or afghan out of your samples. Especially since the prices are through the roof. Im working on pot holders right now. That is a great idea, love the idea of using the flannel pajama's
Very pretty and bright
Beautiful yarn
I would love to see your sampler blanket when it if finished
Beautiful colors ❤
Very pretty! Hope you make something with the swatch!
Thank you so much for showing us how these work up. After seeing the samples I'm not interested in buying any of these. Also, as you said they are the same price as other cakes but, with less yardage. 🤔🤷🏼♀️

Thank you again for your time 🤗💖
Alot of these colorways are almost exact matches to Red Heart Super Saver. Especially the Glow Worm. Just like RHSS Bright Stripe.
Thanks again for the swatches. This is so helpful and I return to your channel often to review. Also love your patterns and have purchased several. Not sure about the vivid line. I agree the yardage should be the same as other sweet rolls. Have a great day.
I’m not a big fan of such bright colors, but you shared some great information for how it works up.
Beautiful colors for sure! Appreciate your swatches! I’d make a sampler blanket as everyone has sad. Personally I don’t like the backward repeat so you’ve certainly saved me some $$! Premier is my favorite though, just not this one. So appreciate your reviews😊

Ms. Glenda, I always like to watch your swatch videos. 😊 I love Sweet Roll and these are really nice colors. I was tempted to buy some, but they’re similar to RHSS Stripes colors. I have all of the RHSS ones.
Love the dragonfly and moon beam and would love to see the tetra.
Thank You for doing this.
If you are making a big blanket it's going to be hard I think I do love all the colors
Hi Glenda I cannot wait to see the premiere Sweet Roll Vivid cakes and I can't wait to hear what you think of them? Luv the colors
Thank you. This was very helpful.
I plan to make the star blanket that was on Premiers website. ❤❤❤
The colors are pretty and I appreciate you crocheting the swatches so we can see how it will look. I'm not a fan of the random blops of darker color in the lighter color areas that I have seen in several of the swatches that you did. Great job!
Wow!!!!!
Gorgeous colored yarn the name is so fitting ..I love them 💕
Its very pretty
great information thank you
Great colors for a large project. On a smaller piece I think it would just look like you used different yarns.
I remember seeing a beautiful shawl with Tetra? Was thar you and your sister?
Thank you for the wonderful swatches and color reviews
I wouldve liked to see the Tetra worked up.
I think I would leave the samples as they are. Frame each rectangle with black then put the rectangles together.
I was thinking black as the border would really make the samples pop made into an afghan. Like minds :)
Price Price Price! I think it’s over priced for just 3.5 oz. Especially when you get 5 oz. In the regular sweet roll. Like they say, yarn is only worth what you’ll pay for it.
But thank you for all the samples you worked up.
Good morning 😊I love these colors but I think they are a little high priced .
I agree especially for the yardage.
Thank you for showing us. What is the stitch you used on most of your samples please?
Great colors! Perhaps less yarn because vivid coloring is more expensive to create. Previous Sweet Roll colors are subdued and less defined in the roll. I love working with previous Sweet Roll. Hope same with these.
Maybe it’s less yardage because it takes more dye to saturate it? Or just because they can?🤷🏼♀️. I agree, take the black out!
I got three cakes of PRIMARY… it’s so bright, and so soft… my only complaint is that the yardage is too small…
What stiches are you useing love your samples
My bet is the reason there is only 3.5 oz in that skein is because of inflation just like we are getting less food at the store. We will probably be seeing that more in yarn
ikr. this is nuts. it's a gorgeous yarn but for 5.99, can't we even get 200 yards at least?
They are my kind of colours, but as with most self-striping yarn, they king of demand colour control.
I really like the yarn. But if you want to make a larger blanket. It would lose the self striping right?
I used this yarn in a 3 panel hdc blanket. Made center panel wider than the two on either side and crocheted panels together. Self striping is expressed and doing a panel at a time makes handling work easier. Doing hdc in either front or back bars adds texture.
Would you please send me a copy of the pattern you have used with the PREMEIR yarn
I LOVE the colorway of this yarn!! I started a lap pattern, but ran out of the yarn. Now that I have received more, I would like to finish...
But I did not keep the pattern in my notes!! Won't do that again !!
This pattern looks close enough to blend the two!! THANK YOU!!
How would you do a lapgan with this yarn?
I love the yarn ,but the difference in size and money is not good on Premier's part . Love and Hugs .
