National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is my #1. Growing up it was the original Grinch. It was only on tv once a year, just like The Wizard of Oz . Nice yarn video. I always try and watch the ads because I know it helps. Can’t manage the 30 minute ones that have been popping up lately 🙄
My top favorite is Its a Wonderful Life. Also must watches are Elf, White Christmas, Christmas Vacation! 😊

My favorite christmas movie is "Little Lord Fauntleroy", an old british movie (1980) with the amazing Alec Guiness. I watch it every year since i was little, always love the story, that cute little new Lord. (And Patrick Stewart, that movie is one of his first roles on film)
My favorite Christmas movies are A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott and The Family Stone, also Ebbie's Story, with Susan Lucci as Elizabeth Scrooge. A Charlie Brown Christmas is a must!😁

This yarn is absolutely gorgeous. I could watch you knit all day. My favorite Christmas shows are the classic cartoon and claymation ones like Frosty and Rudolph and them. My favorite movie movie is A Christmas Carol. I've replaced Die Hard as a Christmas rotation movie with the Harry Potter movies.
My fav traditional Xmas movie is frosty ☃️ snowman but I just love the hallmark Xmas 🎄 movies 🍿

At least 3 podcasters usually review the same yarns around the same time, so people probably got mixed up. You, bagoday and creative grandma all seem to buy the same new yarns around the same time, ha ha. I can't wait for the momenti. It looks scrumptious. There's an english-dubbed movie from the Netherlands called Christmas Story. It's the life, basically, of St Nicholas. Great story, it starts off slow but gets so much better. It's not a Christmas movie, but I also love to watch Serendipity every christmas season!!

There is a craft that is called crochenit. You use a special hook and there are tutorials on RUclips. Crochenit created by Mary Middleton. I bought the hook many years ago.
I haven’t been able to watch any movies lately b/c we’re busy rearranging the house. But my favorite Christmas movies are Die Hard and Home Alone.

But my niece when she was younger saw "Dirty Dancing" with her older siblings and fell in love with it, I don't even know how many times she watched it, I do know that I watched it enough with her to know the words too! 😄😻
Just got my order from Herrshners today. I ordered the Canyon color. The colors are more subdued than I thought. It is similiar to Comfy Cotton by Lion Brand. A wee bit thicker and a might softer and wispier. (Like a diet slimmed down version, lol) It doesn't seem like a cotton yarn at first but am doing a pattern right now with puff stitches and hello! Yes, it feels more cottony as I'm pulling up the stitches. Had another pattern in mind for this but now I'm beginning to realize it's probably best to stick to patterns that call for more cottony yarn than acrylic or wool. Overall, I DO like it and will probably order some other colors.

I have watched quite a lot of yarn reviews , but this is the best. I am definitely going to buy a few of those Premier cakes. They are great warm colors that would look great with my tan skin. I love the yarns you showed! When you were making up that swatch I was crocheting and then you switched to knitting and every time you said knit, purl, I was doing that with my crochet hook. I should say, Trying to do that! LOL We have a cable channel over here that goes Christmas 24 starting in October and it is only Christmas movies! I tune in to that every year. "It's A Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. I just watched "A Charlie Brown Christmas" the other day here on RUclips while crocheting. And yes, I love to see all the old classic Christmas Claymation movies I watched as a little child. Yup, I like the crochet better. Uh Jenn... side note, did we not have Tuesday Tea with Cinnamon, yesterday? I know I saw a video yesterday but I don't remember seeing you with your tea cup and talking about it. LOL! Maybe it's me, I was completely out of it yesterday. On "auto-pilot" the whole day. LOL!

It might be interesting to do a swatch with the hand wash, dry flat yarn and put it in the machine and dryer. Maybe not such a good idea because of the loss of the yarn by doing this.
I grew up watching Mara Wilson so there's no shame at all in my game when I say I liked the remake of Miracle on 34th Street as much if not more than the original. I also just adore The Polar Express. I think every part of it is as magical as the book. Also, when I was a kid I loved Prancer. The idea of finding one of Santa's reindeer - as an animal lover Prancer got me every time.

Santa Clause:. The Movie is a cult classic. The second you mentioned it, I knew you are a child of the '80"s. I have the storybook of Santa Clause: The Movie. John Lithgow played the bad guy, and Dudley Moore played the elf, although Davy Jones could have played that role better.
