You guys need to look closely at what Pen is writing as Lady Whistledown! It writes that “Cressida Cowper is a liar.” This second half is about to be fierrrryyyyy!
Honestly, I think Eloise is right. Penelope cannot build her relationship on a lie. Eloise is just looking out for Penelope and her brother here. Eloise saw first hand how much Colin hates Whistledown and if he finds out after marriage he would hate Penelope for life. Also, she herself cannot keep the secret longer due to guilt so she will ask Penelope to do the right thing.
Mmm all things considered, she doesn't know what Penelope is planning to do about Whistledown. She was wishing homegirl happiness and now she's handing out deadlines. She's overstepping
I was an avid Eloise supporter until i realized how she is. People have to remember that in these times, if women were seen conversing with men OUTSIDE of society, their names would be ruined. Penelope did Eloise a huge favor by outing her with Theo before it PERMANENTLY damaged the brigerton name. Eloise is so quick to say Lady Whistledown ruined her season, but she would have solely destroyed her family name if she kept seeing Theo in SECRET no less. After this realization and others' opinions, i realized the same thing, i no longer think of Eloise as one of my favorite bridgertons anymore, even if her and Pen reconcile. Cressida in show i dont remember much from her in s1 and s2, but she was absolutely horrible to Pen in the books making fun of her weight saying no one her age should weigh that much. Cressida grew up bullying Penelope in both the show and in the book, and for Eloise to go Buddy Buddy to her after everything is so petty and bitter.
If you rewatch and listen to what pen wrote, she was very vague and she didn’t write about theo or that she was romantically involved with anyone outside the ton, she is very smart with her words, she wrote “with improper company, political radicals in fact” which means that she only wrote that she is involved in political assemblies and stuff like that, didn’t mention anything about theo or any relationship she might have had with those people. Also i hate people that say pen was only trying to protect herself, If that was the case, wouldn’t letting eloise take the blame be the solution to her problems with the queen?
Exactly! I've always found Eloise selfish, irresponsible and arrogant... And annoying. But I'm glad to see she is finally growing more mature. Now I'm starting to like her and hope she'll take a more mature and responsible approach with her feminist/political activities.

And not only it will ruin Eloise’ reputation but also her other sisters that will soon debut into the society. Its easier to accept that she’s running around with radicals and militants than running around with Theo thus being labelled as a light skirt, and disgrace for that matter. Considering the efforts that Daphne did securing marriage with the duke and being courted by a prince.
In the books he seems very upset and angry over talking about whistledown with her about getting unmasked so it is weird to see him calm talking about it here. I'm really curious just how angry he is gonna get .
He wasn’t really angry about it per se, he was angry that she was endangering herself this way and that she could be found out. Later on he did everything he could to make sure she’s okay. I think it’s gonna be the same here

I not happy that they changed the book so much in the book he actually finds out before the carriage and engagement I feel like they are rushing this season and are unfairly makeing Pen a lier she deserves better then this.
If I remember correctly, he sees her going out and follows her, He catches her leaving the envelopes and confronts her. She loses her carriage so he takes her with him and even knowing this, he gives up and confesses his love like in the finale of episode 4, but they're arriving to Pens House

He has some good points in what he says, but the way how he does it and how very angry he is... is written in a way where it's very red flag. I've heard that in book 1 Daphne does something problematic and author writes it like it's no big deal. So, maybe it's just her style to write red flag things and pretend that's romantic. He was struggling finding his purpose but he doesn't communicate his irritation regarding Penelope being Whistledown to her making her feel on the edge for several moments. He admitted he felt a bit jealous in the end since she has already had established herself as published author while he is still struggling with his own path to writing. Then Colin asked Pen to review his journal signalling he doesn't feel that way anymore and he values her opinion more than ever.
There apparently is a scene in part 2 where the script told him to just be angry and the actor playing Colin started crying as we was acting angry (he was overwhelmed with stuff IRL) in the middle of filming. I hope that makes it into the final cut, cuz I think that will soften the blow of the anger but amp up how hurt Colin actually feels.
what happens is that they announce their engagement . eloise gives pen the midnight ultimatum and on top of that there is the queens bounty . the intimate scene is of another day and she faints is actually when cressida comes up to claim to be the lady.then penelope goes to publish paper disgracing cressida for lying and that's where colin finds out the truth. it was just ep 5 and 6 I don't know what happens in ep 7 8 .but surely that's when the tell will break loose.
I do think Eloise is right Penelope cannot keep a secret forever and the fact that she will be marrying Collin will kill their relationship if he finds out she is whistledown and now the freaking queen is asking for hints of who whistledown is just makes it worse, Penelope needs to figure something out before Collin finds out on his own or the queen sends guards to raid peoples houses to find clues of whistledown revealing Penelope’s position to the entire ton meaning herself and her families titles can be stripped and she can possibly be executed for treason
I'm on Pen's side. Eloise is a brat, a hurt one but still a brat. She knows first hand how much Penelope struggles with her family & how isolated she is, but all Eloise cares about is herself & the 1 person she's "lost". She knows how much Penelope loves Colin but all she wants is revenge. No way could Eloise pretend to be Cressy's friend much longer & this is an opportunity to hurt she won't pass up. I can't wait to see how she feels if she gets her way, oh the internal turmoil
Penelope is basically doing to colin what she tried to prevent from happening in season 1. But now its her going into a marriage keeping something from him. Double standard Penelope. He has the right to know what he is marrying.

She has been waiting for Colin for years and he’s finally reciprocated her feelings after so long. She probably doesn’t want to lose that all over again. Tiro las cartas y pregunté sobre este fin de esta historia HERMOSA creeo q el más lindo romance sin ofender a ningún otro ro.ance y trabajo de diferentes actores de la serie .pero para mí la conexión q hay entre los actores de Penélope y Colin es enorme y la sensibilidad q muestras se deja ver y sentir xq creeo q más de una sintió hasta las lágrimas lo q sentía Penélope en estos 4 capítulos de la 3 temporada no digo q uds hombre no sientan pero creeo q lo q le ha pasado a Penélope en su cabeza pero aún más en su corazón solo las mujeres lo podés sentir= yx eso más q algunas lágrimas hemos derramado yo soy una xq he llegado a sentir= q ellos . X eso pienso y he visto pero me inclino+ x lo q he visto q si habrá baches enojos pero al final el AMOR GANA .Aunque pienso q Eloisa x enojo puede ser quien mandé al frente a Penélope con referente a su verdadera identidad y no solo eso Cressida se puede enterar x la misma Eloisa y creeo q por eso va a lo de la reina . Pero también creeo q Penélope se pudo embarazar x eso su desmayo ya sea x eso x la presión y angustia q su futura cuñada pueda sobrecargar en ella se desmaya . A Colima no le puede hacer nada gracioso q se sepa la verdad o mejor q el se entere x otros pero creeo q su amor es enorme para poder perdonar a Penélope. Ellos mismo dijeron q está ROMANCE ERA MUY ROMANTICO Y SI ES ASI NO CABE Entonces DICHA DEFINICION SI TODO TERMINA MAL. XQ DE ROMANTICO SI NO ACABA BIEN NO TIENE NADA. Creeo q si va haber discordia pero al final puede más el corazón EL AMOR💋❤️🌹🌹🌹
