Some say their story is boring but boring lasts long since there is no room for drama...I adore will and Kate love story..both could have anyone but they choosed each other for eternity ......the portrayal was on point and they have great chemistry

Except their real story is full of drama. The producers of The Crown weren't so afraid before of exposing real drama in the Royal Family, why does everyone tiptoe around William and Catherine. This is way too saccharine and not at all what happened.

@@kalmia01 He left her, proposed to two other women (aristocrats) and was rejected, partied (grabbed two South American girls’ breasts and it’s on the internet), she drank and partied all over London because her mother told her to act like the “break” didn’t bother her, his friends constantly made fun of her parents, she showed her privates getting in and out of cars at the clubs, he was told to propose or drop her because ten years of dating was pretty ridiculous, and he gave her a ring to shut everybody up and had/has an affair with an aristocrat named Rose. Oh, and she has an uncle who paid for her and her siblings private schools, who illegally sold arms and openly snorts cocaine and beats his wife.

When Kates mom said to her " don't ever think that you're not good enough for anything in this world.." that sealed it all .. done deal !! I am sure mom said this to her throughout her life.. but it was as if God spoke through her to Kate..❤❤❤ Kate and her family are truly remarkable.. And of course princess Diana raised William to be smart enough to see her heart shining.. These are wonderful times to be a part of one of the greatest love stories in history...❤❤
Kate's grandmother, maternal one, rose from low poor background, apparently, and thought of herself to be worthy of so much more, ...etc. It was researched and described in a book about Kate's and Will's ancestors and them being blood related 4 or 5 or 6 generations ago. I remember it as her grandma instilled attitudes into her mum Carol who played the part in advising Kate, however Kate as her own person grew into who she is today, no doubts it helps to have mother like she has. Let alone grandmother.
@@suzanablank5809 Exactly! It's interesting how Kate became this confident, resilient woman without ever being cocky or full of herself. Carol and Michael did an amazing job in raising their children, they are an exceptional family and by the looks of it, the Wales children are getting the same treatment which is great.

The actress that played Kate, she did an EXCELLENT job with Catherine’s accent and tones/inflections in her voice. She sounded just like her to me.

I agree, I wish we could see more of them, maybe even further down the line in their realtionship, but at the same time I like the fact that Netflix respected their privacy and didn't recreate any recent events. Although Carol Middleton's character was quite exaggerated in my opinion.
I agree I think it would be good if there was a spin off about them more detailed I know that there are many more things there that should have been explored
Out of all the European royal love stories there’s is still my favourite. I remember coming home from school to watch their wedding. She was absolutely stunning and I’ve loved the way she has carried herself in her duties ever since. William chose really well and they have beautiful and kind children. They’ll make a great King and Queen some day just like George VI and the Queen mother.
I actually love Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Queen Elizabeth was very young and bold, Prince Philip was the only one she loved her entire life and they were together till the end. I love the Waleses as well and they have a wonderful love story but Queen Elizabeth II has a special place in my heart ❤️

I just love her so much. And I don't care what hater say, cause even under Meghan's version of the story, Kate was humble enough to own up to her mistakes. Prince William certainly made the right choice.

This will be so romantic because their love story was really romantic. They took the time, dated, separated and got back together in the most adorable way. Catherine the Princess of Wales really grew up and William the Prince of Wales did as well. Plus they had a lot in the news with waity katie, with topless photos on honeymoon that were asked by the late Queen to be removed from press and so much more. Anyways, can't wait to watch..

They dated for a long time but I think it was more about William being unable to fully commit to Kate - he did see other women and wanted to be with another girl Isabella Calthorpe I think. He basically strung Kate along and settled for her because he was approaching 30 and his family told him he needed to get married now lol

I love how the love story was shown. It wasn't boring at all. I never watch "The Crown", but now, maybe I will.
It's very factual in the realities of the couple's fears and doubts, even anger. Carole admitted her part in pushing for the couple was a bit selfish on her part, but she reigned herself in, especially when she heard about the realities of Princess Diana's life that the public weren't privied too at the time. So the parts of Kate accusing her are factual, but it shows that people can still get swept up in the "fairy-tale-ness" of the Royal family even after what happened to Diana.

Easily the best relationship and one of the best thing that happened in the royal family in 50 years.
I hope we can have a sequel of their relationship more fleshed out,along with Harry before things fall apart .
A sequel with William as the main character would be nice. That was the best part of season 6.

I have never watched The Crown before but this is just BEAUTIFUL. THIS IS LOVE. This video made me feel cozy and warm, knowing that the actual William and Kate are happily married with 3 kids (Georgie, Charlotte and Louis). I'm so glad I am able to get an idea of what their life was when they were younger.

There is absolutely no truth to this fictional interpretation in this episode of The Crown as to how William & Catherine became a couple. However, it was a lovely storyline, and has made me love our Prince & Princess of Wales even more! They literally grew up together, played together and now have the most loving romantic blessed marriage in the world. The actors playing our Wills' & Kate were absolutely brilliant! 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

A real modern fairy tale with a prince that falls in love with a commoner. In the words of Roger and Hammerstein "It's possible, for plain country bumpkin and a prince to join in marriage." Also poetic the weekend they got married Osama bin laden died. And the South Park episode on their wedding was hilarious. They were meant to be and I cannot wait to see their coronation.

diana meeting kate never happened. its unclear what the role of kates mum was. I enjoy the crown especially the earlier series whoever even though some of the storylines and based in fact the dialog is fiction. the writers have taken huge liberties in the last two series. it astounds me that people take this show as accurate historical fact its a entertainment show based in 40% fact and the rest fiction
