  • Audio spectrum tutorial in after effects creating venetian blinds and a glowing gradient effect where the bars move up with the music and react to the beat. Audio spectrum's are great for music channels and creating visual effects for videos to make them look more interesting.

    Great job. best tutorial I've seen for this. Was going to keep using a free online tool to do it, but takes a bit of while for it to process. Your tutorial was clear and easy to follow. Just curious why you chose those y coordinates for the 4 color gradient though...experimentation? does it really matter? Thanks.

    Nice job. It would be great to know why you picked/the logic for/ those gradient points positions 04:50... but nice tutorial for sure.

    • @VerticDesigns
      @VerticDesigns  2 года назад +2

      Well, when I was creating this effect it just ended up looking really cool how it all blends together nicely so realistically it's all down to preference but the position of the points are specifically made to give it that visual effect. So point 1 would be at the bottom left, point 2 around top left, point 3 bottom right and point 4 at the top right. A good distance between them also means a smoother colour blend. Also thanks for feedback

      Yeh just double check your project duration it needs to be the same length as your song

    Hey is it necessary to put a solid? and if yes what is the reason for it?

    • @VerticDesigns
      @VerticDesigns  3 года назад

      Yes and it's for the audio spectrum so without it the effect wouldn't really be visible or have a controllable layer. The solid is like the base of the structure
