glad this worked for so many people. I cannot get my phone to keep mp3 files. It will read them one day and then delete them the next. I know that many people have this problem. it comes about when you use a storage card. So beware. If you transfer (and I've tried many different ways to do this) sound files don't delete them from your PC if they matter to you because you may find they disappear next time you use your phone.
0:50 files
1:23 USB connection
2:03 ur phone in files
2:33 double clicking music folder
2:39 clicking and dragging it
Thank you very much. I never added music to my phone before because I never had enough (32gb) memory on my older phones, but now I have 128gbs so I figured it's time. Great video. Very easy to follow. I wish everyone who does a video would explain it the way you did. God bless.
THANK YOU. This was such a massive pain in the butt to try and figure this out and you keep it clean and simple to understand. No more struggling for me!
Literally the most helpful video, thank you. Honestly had no idea about the notification tab and switching charging to transfer. No other site talks about it, which was my problem the whole time, so thanks friend!
But how do you actually PLAY the music? He clicked on an app that's not even on my phone -_-
@@koolkeith6306 in the file bro go in music file then you see the music
😉
Make sure learn more in your phone
Why did this sound sarcastic?
@@circarmen It wasn't but I could see how it could seen as that.
Totally the most straight forward, easiest transfer ever. After several attempts over weeks and a couple of hours today - and it's done. Thanks so much for the instruction. It took ten minutes.
Bro, you rock! I didn't know that I had to go to my phone's Notifications to tell the USB cable to function as a File Transfer. This cleared up a lot of head-scratching. Thank you so much!
Thank you! The vid really helped me figure out how to add songs to this crazy cell phone.
Thanks man. That was literally the exact step I was missing.
Literally
To repeat Richard....Literally the most helpful video, thank you!
Thanks! Much appreciated. Was driving me nuts trying to figure this out. Didn't know about that notifications options! Thanks again!

Genius, Perfect. Straight to the point, no fluff. Good Stuff
After years of attempting to do this via various work arounds such as iSyncr, I discovered Music Bee last night.
It reads all of your iTunes files, is simplicity itself to set up.
It recognizes (after a bit of jiggery pokery) your device and syncs...Happy Days! ;O)
Thank you so much for posting this step by step tutorial ! I was able to get my computer recognize my phone ( finally ! ) and, from there, just followed your instructions. You just made my day. Thanks for the help.
Excellent video...big help. I was unable to see my phone once connected..now i know. Thanks

@Barbora Sau yep
Thanks so much! Yours is the best ones from all the ones I've watch so far.
Thank you so much. I have been struggling to transfer music and you made it easy.
Okay, so how did you get the music on you're computer in the first place? You still need a downloader of sorts to get music if I recall. Doesn't matter if it's a phone or computer, the rules still apply.
You can get music files, either individual songs or whole albums by buying & downloading it from a music service like Amazon or i-Tunes. You can use a program like Audacity to record whatever you hear on your computer, from your own sounds to a sound from a video, whether mysic, sound effects, or voices - any sound. You can use same program to edit, cut & paste sounds & save as MP3, but be sure to find the "Lame" file elsewhere forcsaving as MP3. They don't keep on their site, so technically they are not "supplying pirating software" . Instructions should be on their site or a quick Google search will also give instructions. OR take a purchased CD & copy the music to your computer.
When you put a music player on your phone, like downloaded from the Play store, it searches your phone for music files when you use it. I would still follow the instructions in the video above though for where to place files on your phone.
DCIM is the correct folder to use for transferring music from a computer to a tablet, but I have one more detail to add because the tablet I'm using has another step I had to do to make a USB transfer possible. When I plug the tablet into the computer, a menu appears on the tablet, and "No Data Transfer" is the default. By default, my 2022 Android tablet only allows the device to be charged through the mini-USB port. Before I can transfer anything to the tablet, I have to click "Allow data transfer" on the tablet. THEN, I can select DCIM as the folder to put stuff in.
New Google rules, etc.
Thank you Brother! This video is great because I was stuck and need some choons for my overseas vacation 🤩
is it just me or does he sound depressed?
@@spiegel3269 it can be
I like a lot how he is talking. It is so easy understand him and much better if somebody with so hard accent is talking so fast like a gun machine. I have my own accent and it is enough for me. Ha...ha...ha...

Aren't we all.
@@commando1912 no. thats weak shit. fuck, depression aint even real bruh
Great video. I understand it perfectly. One thing, will the music play automatically one after the other or do I have to manually click my phone. Thinking maybe a "playlist" would be the better option for consecutive songs. Thx.
Tethering is basically a mobile hotspot bit non-wireless and gets signal thru the connection cable xD
Thanks, Since it's late 2020 I didn't think this would help but I watched anyways. That worked perfect. I'm trying to get muzik to my phone so I can get it on my watch. Much appreciated!!!
still useful in 2020 thanks bro this really helped
i just bought a phone and was going to bring it back because it would'nt let me download any songs to it, until i fell upon thiss vid , thanks.

Thank you! There were some things that were a wee bit different on my end, but I figured it out.
Thanks for the upload this tutorial helped me out heaps.
Excellent. This worked. Thank you soooo much.
Thanks for the tip! I can't believe that the File Transfer function is buried under the charging function. I find Android be frustrating in general. Say what you will about Windows Phone but they are a lot more intuitive.
Thank you so much. Nearly downloaded some crap. Cheers!
1) There's not a group of people sitting here watching this video ("You guys). 2) Are you stoned? 🤦♀
What a god! Thanks man! Easiest one I've seen so far.
