  • The PreSonus Eris e3.5 series studio monitors from PreSonus are quickly gaining momentum as one of the most popular desktop speakers on the market. Right now, they're selling over three thousand sets of these a month & that made me want to check them out. These were purchased independently for full price & will get a longer form video in the future after they've been used a bit more. Leave any questions in the comments below.

I own them since I've used them at work.
But at home some problem with my electrical system makes a 130hz "boost" and makes them almost unusable.
Does anyone have FIX of my problem??
At work they sounds very good for the price and don't take much space, so nice speakers for sure.

Oh wow, that's interesting. Just so I'm clear, when you plug them in at home, it's boosting 130 Hz on whatever you play though them? Or are you saying you're getting a hum or tone at 130 Hz when plugging in at home?
Also, what country are you in? Is there any reason you think the power at home and work might be different? Thanks for the info!

@@DcSoundOp Not a hum, a boost. Bulgaria in Europe.
I work at an old theater and the electrics are at a pro level.
But older post communist buildings like mine have issues with electric.
The speakers work fine on their own when no other stuff like my PC and xr18 are in the socket. Just a speaker and an aux with my phone is fine
But when my whole setup is working it's a 130hz hell of a boom.

That's a really unusual problem. Have you contacted @presonus at all about it? I doubt they'd have a solution at hand, but it would be interesting to know what they say. @@TsvetelinIvanovTheBachkator

Hello you all, I've just installed and connected through the stereo rca cable to the computer. They make randomly a weird noise, it's not constant. Can anyone help me with this it's windows setting issue ? It's a cable issue? I've also noted the dolby application does not recognize these audio monitor so I cannot use it.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Hey, I just saw this. Can you give me some more details about how your setup is put together. I'm not sure I understand how you have things hooked up currently. Hopefully we can sort you out. Thanks for watching Alberto!

That's fair enough. Was this recently? I've lost all of my contacts there since Fender bought them... they seem much more big corporate now.

i think thats all electronics called the "silicone lottery" its why theres warrenty but companies only really care to make it work past the warrenty, so after that it is REALLY just a gamble!
