I watched your show on Monday night. This was a great panel of expertise. I enjoyed and learned so much. Please bring back Francine Bardole. Always a pleasure watching Dr. Gary Brucato. God bless you Chris and your precious wife. ❤
Wow, that's interesting about the girl who was killed in that oddly named park that Kohberger apparently liked to "star gaze" at. Why I find this so fascinating is that I've wondered from when they arrested Kohberger, if he had been a "fan" of Bundy, because he retraced his steps in so many areas he drove through (which were way out of his easiest path to where he was heading in Pennsylvania). So interesting 🤔 A great show, Chris. I'd seen Francis with you before and I love her passion for her work too. She's a wealth of knowledge on DNA, which I found fascinating. Of course my favourite guy is Dr Brucato, so he can do no wrong in my eyes. What a beautiful mind! I'd love to have his incredible retention for information. Amazing.
Oh I wish I would have caught this live to ask this question. I’m an ER nurse and many times when we have a trauma victim that was involved in a GSW, we’re taught to cover the hands with bags prior to placing the deceased pt in a shroud. It is typically a biohazard bag that we use to transport specimens, just bc the lab bags are easily accessible in our resus room. I’ve been told we do this to preserve dna/ protect the hands from losing any debris evidence like gun powder. I’m now questioning whether this is correct. Would that not damage potential DNA if there was for instance a physical alteration prior to the GS like DNA evidence in fingernails? Because some times it may take the medical examiner a few days prior to performing the autopsy. Granted the body is placed in refrigerators leading up to that. So then would keeping them refrigerated preserve the DNA? We typically have them in our hospital morgue within 1-1 1/2 hr post time of death but sometimes longer if family is spending time with their loved one first. We do however place personal items/ clothing inside a paper bag labeled evidence and handoff to PD/ detective when they arrive. If there’s anything you suggest changing with our process, I would appreciate the suggestions/ education. I would never want to be the person responsible for losing valuable evidence that could make a difference for a victims family!
I just love this discussion tonight. Each of you is so professiona! Thanks to each of you. God bless!! It seems so strange that people want to reject the obvious!!
According to a female ex-coworker of BK he was once fired from a security job because he backed the security car into someone's vehicle and he was seen very clearly on camera doing it. The thing is they didn't fire him because he had the accident they fired him because he outright lied about it and when they showed him the video he continued to lie about it and exploded into a rage over it. According to her, the video was undeniably him driving the car having the accident, and getting out to check for damage yet he would not take responsibility for it and it was just deny deny deny. So i could see BK making up a wild story about someone framing him or a story about how his DNA got on that knife sheath. To everyone else, the story would sound completely insane but to BK it would make complete sense.
In the UK there was a Criminology student who murdered 3 women a few years ago and he definately made it easy for police to find him. I think the notoriety seeking is similar here.
This was such a fantastic episode. Francine was so enjoyable to listen to in conjunction with Dr. Gary. Fascinating about the Bundy / Waiwaiwei Park bit. I'm sold on that theory.
@@stevestevenson289laid say Dr Gary knows best if he either didn't correct the person saying this or said it himself then it's true. Have yet to get to that bit.
We thought there was no evidence that Alex Murdaugh murdered his wife and son. Then during trial, the Snapchat video with Alex’s voice obviously and loudly present, was presented to us like Alex’s head on a platter. This piece of evidence proved Alex was lying and established his location as with his family moments before they were shot. So he either did it or would have had to have seen whoever did it. Let’s pray the state of Idaho has the equivalent of that Snapchat video to wrap up and tie this case in a bow.
If someone set up BK and left the sheath would mean that they are the perpetrator and knew BK left his DNA on it... come on... be real... makes no sense. BK is the guy that did it.
@TruthNationUncensored So you think BK DNA floated in the air and somehow touched underneath the button snap and the real perpetrator happened to find this and used it for the crime while BK happened to be star gazing.. clap clap 👏 lol like I said, good luck
