Gary is absolutely on when he speaks of Kohberger's arrogance getting the best of him. That's usually how it goes with his particular kind.
Same in the Murdaugh case... his lawyers probably begged him not to testify ... he did... and his arrogance was not lost on the jury
They trip over their own arrogance.
@@earth0128 ..Very true. I would have an intimate knowledge of this as I too share that trait. I recognize it yet it's a compulsion that is difficult to restrain. It may be my undoing as well. But I'm not concerned anymore. It is what it is and what it will be.
@@chrisiman2406I often do it 😅
@@earth0128 ..Can you explain in more detail, without giving specifics of course.
I'm not interested in having you explain the circumstances. But I am intrigued with the process involved.
I have the classic taunting behavior to express my knowledge and prowess.
I don't provide intimate details for obvious reasons.
I suppose I watched a little bit too much of Sherlock Holmes as a child. 😂
I think Dr. Gary Brucato is the most fascinating psychologist I have ever listened to and I look forward to seeing him every time you have him on. Great analysis. If only Brian Koberger could have made a human connection, he wouldn't have done these murders. Or, if someone had noticed he was struggling socially & asked him if he was okay & try to get him to go to a psychologist or counselor. I think since his problems run so deep into his childhood, he should have been seen by a psychologist or psychiatrist.
Dr. Gary Brucato hit the nail on the head. He loved criminology because he himself figured he could learn and out smart police, detectives and forensic scientists. He asked Moscow Police to hire him. He could get first hand information. I thought the fact that his sister is a psychologist and not recognized Bryan’s behavior especially toward his parents. They can throw out their pots and pans because he cannot have anything around where meat was used in. The parents definitely knew he was off and not quite normal.
Apparently the pots and pans event was when he styed w his Aunt and Uncle
Gary has such a depth of insight. I agree as I have felt from the start that this was one of Kohberger's motivations in committing the crime. The other being anger-retaliatory.
I agree gary
Dr. Ann Burgess is absolutely a living legend!! Proud to have her in the nursing profession!
Just finished listening. Once again the best panel out there. Thank you for sharing your expertise to help us understand this case better. Love you guys!
I wish you would have Dr. Brucado speak more often. He is the main reason I watch these.
Ha! Thank you. But this whole panel is pretty amazing to be part of.
I love them all. I could watch all night ❤
@@drgaryb13I agree with her!
Oh my gosh I could listen to Dr Gary talk all day. Absolutely brilliant mind!!
You all are such caring and nice people. You renew faith in humanity. Prayers for all.
Absolutely a phenomenal panel, thanks for your time Chris, FBI profiler Greg, FTN Dr. Ann, Dr, Gary Brucato and Dean L Jackson CCF!!! Thanks to Social Media we have these awesome panels, not that the events are pleasant, however it does make it nice to have live discussion's with different perspectives!
So late here it's early & I need to get to sleep. I popped on here for a min so it would get saved in my history & I could catch up later! I got hooked in! Lol
🤔🤔🤔 My thought process is "major props to the cameraman filming the back of the house for his balance & stability". Because trust and believe if I'd have been there, we'd be quietly scoping out the crime scene until I slipped on all of that ice, slid on my butt under the crime scene tape, down the hill and landed ass first at the back door. Ninja fail. 😂
Seriously, idk how anyone filming that didn't end up sliding down the hill with all that ice! Great job!
The camera woman. Chris' wife😊
Chris' wife has amazing balancing skills! 😊💜
Greatest Panel Ever. Frozen Shock Phase happened to everyone on panel just prior to Chris saying let’s go to questions…lol that was priceless. I learn so much from all of you every time you get together to talk I’m heart to listen.
These are the BEST panels. So many brilliant minds coming together having educated discussions backed with the experience we all wish we had!

@@ginaiannucci I am hung up on this detail also, none in his car home or office, esp if 2 of the murders were unplanned & he wasn't seen carrying out a bag(which could've contained coveralls) with him by surviving roommate. Also why no 6pack or lineup was given to the surviving roommate before the mugshot release of the suspect
The issue of whether his phone had been on airplane mode in the past is BRILLIANT. Best critical thinking I’ve heard on this case in months!
Yes, that was an excellent point from the excellent Dean.
@@drgaryb13 Honored to have your response ❤️ Excellent points from all of you!
Chris, you come across as a quiet, unassuming man. But your observations are so naturally sharp it must really trouble criminals! Incredible talent.
Before the murders, a neighbor reported their dog was killed and skinned. This fits your theory that Bryan was “practicing “…getting familiar with his knife.
Although the police said at the time that it wasn't related, I think he did do it.
Didn't hear about that until now. Mr. Colbert said he also found a rabbit scalped with ears removed, just before his dog was skinned, as though someone was stalking his neighborhood. His last name sounded like 'Kohberger', I had to read the article!
Unbelievable wealth of knowledge and insight with this rockstar panel!! Thank you, Chris!!! 🙌🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Wow - Dateline with Gary Brucato and Keith Morrison - talk about a dream team, match made in heaven with two of my favorite people to listen to. You don’t see that much intelligence and class in the same room very often. Thanks for this show, you do a great job - love hearing from all of you .
I loved meeting with Keith. He's a great interviewer and very sharp.

Great panel as always! Excellence across the board.
Love the panel. I no longer watch any other channels regarding this crime- only TIR.. Also Dr. Brucato’s book was outstanding- 100% agree with his theories about root causes of crimes like this, and his belief that evil exists, which some academicians deny. Has he mentioned what level this crime is on his Gradations of Evil scale or is it too soon to be able to properly assess that? Thank you all so much.

Not knowing a single thing regarding the familial dynamics. I'd assume he'd had issues with his mother. Maybe this will eventually surface??
Amazing panel. This should be a weekly show with everybody! Best out there.
Dr Gary is amazing. The analogy with Revenge of the Nerds is perfect and the sense of connectivity/oneness with the victims via even their names together through history is so interesting. Sad, but very interesting.

Thanks Chris and Karen for saying this is a family friendly show and also to keep things classy. 🌻 💐
Thank you, Chris and company for another great show! I love hearing from these guests as they are all super knowledgeable and very interesting. I always feel like I learn something. ❤
Is it normal for Brian to appear to be so aloof and so smooth? He doesn’t even seem inconveinced by any of this.
If he's innocent, Absolutely
Think of Chris Watts seemed to speak as if nothing ever happened … thinking that’s common.
Great show! I love Dr. Gary so much. His brilliant mind and how he knows every detail about so many killers just blows me away! 🥰 Both Dr. Gary and Greg were awesome on the Dateline show.
So FASCINATING!!!! I Just love it when you work with this panel! So much knowledge and years and years of experience!! You all have such grasp on the criminal mind! Thanks for all the insight!
Really love Dr. Gary and Dr. Ann! Much respect to each of you! Was very cool to see Dr. Gary as part of the Dateline doc on Friday p.m. I appreciate your other guests tonight too just don’t have as much knowledge of them. Thanks for another great discussion and insight on this awful case. I have had family in Moscow for many decades and was pretty horrified when this crime happened. My extended family loved the town they had settled in several decades ago but have passed on. Just got Dr. Brucato's book and I am about halfway through it. It's filled with incredibly interesting information!
Please review it where you got it!
@@drgaryb13 will do as soon as I finish reading. Just finished the chapter on school shooters and, as an English teacher, was fascinated by it. I would have loved to know your thoughts on Nikolas Cruz post trial. The middle school for which I teach is in Broward County, Florida and my students go to Parkland after they leave here usually. Many of my former students are still traumatized by the tragedy in 2018. This whole incel phenomenon is interesting as well as troubling, and I suspect I have come across one or two over the years. I also love the gradations of evil scale as a way of categorizing something so difficult to wrap our minds around.
Chris, the remains of a missing girl has been found in PA today. Her death is being investigated and BK is being looked into for her death as she was found not far from his parents house. Hopefully we'll hear more about this in the future
Do you have a name? My assumption is they have to identify her still.

They haven't released her name publicly..

It’s kind of eerie how he’s standing right where the perpetrator allegedly parked and police apparently found some blood droplets.
?????😂😂😂
I believe he wanted to see his crime “studied”in classes etc. laughing to himself knowing he was the perpetrator(Alledgedly) Watching the students try to figure out the”puzzle” It backfired as he ended up fired and getting caught by his own sloppiness.

One things for sure, this is a very strange, dark, evil young man. So sorry these young people lost their lives, they need to be remembered away from BK name. But, if he didn’t make these amateur mistakes, this guy would have killed hundreds of people, for years. All while getting his PHD, and teaching young people in college and university, his future victims. It’s absolutely chilling! Put him away forever.
As always... exceptional content! Justice for Ethan, Kaylee, Maddie, Xana !! 🙏♥️🙏💗🙏💗🙏💗
I believe that Madison was Bk Target, and one of the surviving roommates knows more than what is being told.
Didn't Kaylee have more severe wounds
@@straitbrady2057That could have been due to more passion or it could have been due to the blade being dulled after 3 other people.
I just bought Ann's book. Can't wait to read it. I also really liked Ann Rule's book on Bundy. Very glad to have found this group. You're all very interesting.
I searched unsolved crimes and missing ppl around the areas he has lived and I think he’s been doing this since he was 18.
I live 45 min from Albrightsville I'm curious what you came up with
You think law enforcement hasn't done this also? Jesus Christ you people. Stay in your lanre
I believe things went wrong for him when there were two girls in the room…he was only expecting one…he got sloppy left the sheath….then sadly encountered either Ethan or Xena…on the way out!
*Xana
Your contribution to this issue is very professional, intelligent and all around excellent. Just as well we do have some balanced insights to counter the nonsense out there.🌻
I really think that Xana took her door dash order to the kitchen, perhaps to put it on plates, and she ran into Bryan as he was coming down the stairs after unaliving Maddie
and Kaylee and he followed her to her room
There was soil from a plant that was knocked over near that bag so a good possibility.
What an interesting discussion! Thank you.
Thank you panel for the knowledge you guys shared tonight regarding this case.😊
I hat about no blood or evidence outside/. 8 mins no time w car on cameras 8 hr delay to call 911 this whole thing is not making sense.

Drug Related. The girls were talking.
We haven't seen all of the evidence so you don't know that.
Going back in time, many of our movies and tv shows portray watching people secretly as ok. It isn’t seen as evil.
Absolute Catquillen! I hadn't really thought about it until Revenge of the Nerds analogy was brought up on this. Glad u brought up, reminded me. Be safe & be loved sweetie.
Where do u see it normalized?
Great show! Thank you for all the knowledge and entertainment you have provided me for the past couple of years! You helped me get through some tough times. Wishing you the best of luck and may God bless you and all the people who associate with TIR
We appreciate your support Sandy
There was a report of a dog being killed and skinned less than 10 miles away from the murders a few weeks before the murders. I have ALWAYS believed the dog was practice for him. To make sure he could do it.
Probably was premeditated to use as a line in his vegan defense. Wasn’t me, I’m vegan!
Kaylee said someone is in the house before she was killed.
Very surprised no one screamed or yelled. Second floor were caught off guy and were killed. They must of saw Brian K coming down from the third level. It might of been one person, which excellated to 4.
Strange that Kaylee was there that night, it might of been why that night.
Watching on replay… this is a fantastic power-panel!! If BK was watching the house, the roommates often he would most likely recognize EC’s vehicle, IMO. Maybe that is what triggered him? Maybe EC was meant to be a victim? I wish I had watched this live to ask these questions! Thanks so much for the time and knowledge you all shared with us❤
The Interview Room is a CLASS ACT True Crime Podcast. Great content n panelists.
Seeing his facial reaction during the listing of charges, i think Xana was the target. He was visibly clenching his jaw repeatedly when her name was read. She represented the deep committed relationship that he could never achieve.
Interesting perspective! I thought he was perhaps getting angry with the judge in a condescending way - as in he wants to tell the judge that he is intellectually superior but knows he can't.
Excellent point!
@Michelle Do we know for sure the timing? So much hasn't been released yet.
@Michelle she was killed last and Ethan tried to stop him. According to reports I've seen.
Maybe killing her bothered him. She did have a sweet personality and may have known her from Mad Greek restaurant
❤ Thank you Chris and wonderful guests
I disagree with all this phychology bs..he has evil spirit period
My comment is that His family & neighbors are lucky that they are still alive. They should be incredibly in debt to the FBI & PA State police for saving their lives
The object of his fixation was not of his family or neighbors.
Right! He had a very specific type.
@@AskAlex1999 ..No one ever wants to admit it but his crime was sexually motivated. He achieved more than simple piqueristic gratification in the stabbings.
Thank you guys for helping us/ me understand a little better about what's going on. This is a scary crazy world we live in. I appreciate you all explaining all of this. Now it makes a lot more since why they suspected him. I feel so sorry for these kid's families. I pray for all of them. 🙏🙏🙏

Do you think he had these young ladies under surveillance? I do, especially after hearing about his female co-worker/friend at WSU.
Depends what you mean by surveillance...12 registered visits outside the house ( probably double that when phone was off or not taken )
all late at night..…
you decide what he was doing there...I'd call it surveillance.
@@vls3771 I think it's entirely possible he had cameras or surveillance on their electric to monitor their habits and other unappealing things.
Would LOVE to know if his sisters experienced any weird behavior (voyeuristic type incidents) while growing up with him???
People who knew him Bryan changed dramatically after he lost the 100 lbs. There was a kind of blank stare & seemingly without much emotion. Was he using heroin before the weight loss or after? Remember he wrote that journal about his parents looking like video game characters & he felt nothing. There was also the description of visual snow in his writing. I just recalled the writing to his father about needing psychological help, but he never gave the letter to him.
I have a brother who is mentally ill. He's two years younger than me. I knew for years that he was not well mentally. My parents were totally in denial. I think when I moved away and then got married and went back for dinner I talked to my mom after an incident where he behaved badly and she finally got it.
Love you all. Thank you. Blessings to you and yours, Chris. I just love the way you send off. So dear.
About 61 minutes in Dr Brucato brought up a possibility of intent for the sheath being off the belt and I was thinking perhaps that's why Kaylee's dad said wounds were worse on her possibly because she walked in as he unalived Maddie with some elevated state of mind at the moment & K came in unexpectedly so he fought her harder. My prayers for the families and surviving roommates 🙏.
You are on par with my thoughts and analysis. Kaylee was not originally in Madison's bed. She had been in her own bedroom.
Totally agree, been on that thought pattern for months
I always enjoy hearing the members of this panel. What I have found odd about this case is how fast four people were killed and that two people were left alive in the house.

They took the long way back home in the car to avoid snowstorms
Thanks. That would explain why his Dad was not suspicious about this odd route.
Yes, that was the week of those serious ice storms.
@Michelle I don't know
I live in Nebraska and I think him and his dad took a more southern route home because we were having snowstorms around that time. So I think they were avoiding the snow. Nothing odd about that IMO.
Yeah I remember thinking that too when someone brought up the Southern route. I wouldn't want to drive that far north all the way across the US almost when it was Winter.
Agree.
The cold case foundation needs to solve Jon Benet Ramsey case
Chris had an important role there.
HOW, though? Too much time has passed, I think 😢
You’d be surprised how many cases older than Jon Benet’s have been solved decades later. In fact, they are solving old cases left and right using familial dna in recent years! They already have identified the presence of, i think, two unknown sources of male dna on her clothing. They just need to identify the right suspects through detective work and check the dna against those suspects or consenting family if the suspects have passed away. I’m pretty confident that they will solve it in our lifetime❤
