@@divinearia1601 also, be careful with who you outwardly claim 2-3 points is not considered a “big gap” to, because that statement in itself is usually already a testament to someone’s knowledge on the sport. “just” 2-3 points is false. that margin is quite large for a single program with less or, at most, equal quality to his GPF 2019 SP. for the overall accumulated results it might not be as big of a deal, but anything above 112 for Chen in the short is.
3:01 one of, if not the only, jump in this that deserved a 5. Holy shit that was the cleanest Quad Sal ever. His jumps are super unique because he does them with a quick, clean snap and the rotations are so tight and fast in the air. I mean, look at how quick that toe-pick assist was on that no.4 Flip. It looked so light(like he barely tapped the ice), seamless, and effortless.
Anna's Flip has a really bad technique, like her other jumps! The fact that she's on the list... ISU!!! P.S. I like her and her artistry, but I can't deny the fact that her technique is not that good, comparing to Trusova for example Also Kamila has an insane prerotation on her 2T of the combo!

Divine Aria i agree. i honestly can’t figure out why people say his landings aren’t pretty after watching him for 3+ years because they usually look fine to me. @@divinearia1601 if you’re so “interested”, then why don’t you look into it yourself? it appears the only reason you replied with and asked me that question in the first place was because you wanted to argue with a person on the internet who actually knows how the judging system works. i’d enlighten you with the details of their scoring, but i’m actually on holiday rn and unfortunately you’re not the only person who’s been bold enough to go against the word of someone who knows more than you do about the sport. if you happen to find my comments anywhere, either on this channel or on other channels (if you do a little digging and regularly catch up with ISU events i’m sure that wouldn’t be difficult, but seeing as you’re attempting to stupidly pick a fight with someone who knows better tells me otherwise, cause if you had done so then you would’ve been well informed by now on why my thoughts are how they are lmao), maybe then you’ll catch a glimpse of what i’m saying. if that’s too much homework for you (god forbid the person i’m trying to push into a corner here give me any tips on how to delve deeper into the sport because i want answers _here and now_ without effort, even though as someone who’s going out of their way to state there is no basis for this educated person’s claims, it’s slightly contradicting to be just that- someone with no basis to their words), the person(s) running this channel liked my comment. before you go on again about how tHaT iS nO BaSiS tO mY ArGumEnT, they never usually like comments that are misinformed or controversial with its opinions/perspectives. they always like educated comments about the scoring of certain skaters, about the comparison between A’s and B’s jump, and have made several replies in response to these topics. you can check their other videos to confirm. that in itself should already prove my point, and my point stands (and is pretty much concretely factual by now) that the inflation in USNats and Rusnats is miles more drastic than it is in JNats. check skatingscores.com and look for scoring sheets to your desire (i sound like an ads person lol) and take a look at the GOE’s, the PCS grades and the spin or StSq levels given. that should be easy to start with.
(I understand Anna's jumps aren't very good technically, because of full blade assistance and excessive pre-rotation, but they look so seamless when they aren't slowed down. I mean you can still see full blade assistance when it's not slowed down, if that's what you're looking for, but still... The landing on her 4F was beautiful and I'm sure looks perfect to the average viewer.)
All beautiful, but number 6 was not a quad flip, more like a floop because if you watch the video at 0.25 you will notice she uses a full blade as support, meaning that the jump is not a flip.
I noticed it too, she does it a bit.
She does it often.
I want to throw this video on the face of those antis saying yuzu's jumps are getting worse 😂

I think Sahsas GOEs are ok. Just the other a way to high!!!

It’s Yuzuru’s entrance and exit for me
Yuzuru 4,5 rotation! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Near 5!!! Perfect!!!!

NATHANS TECHNIQUE IS FLAWLESS!! 🤩 no. 4 that flip looked like a triple it was that good!!
I said this once and I'll say it again; he should've been the one who got the title of first one to land a 4F in comp.
YES. His quads are effortless and his technique is indeed flawless, so clean. I love his 4Fs as well as his 4Lz. His 4S is beautiful too. His jumps are super unique because he does them with a quick, clean snap and the rotations are so tight and fast in the air. I mean, look at how quick that toe-pick assist was on that no.4 Flip. It looked so light(like he barely tapped the ice), seamless, and effortless.
Exactly. NC never gets the credit he deserves from fans and videos like this
Anna's Flip has a really bad technique, like her other jumps! The fact that she's on the list... ISU!!!
P.S. I like her and her artistry, but I can't deny the fact that her technique is not that good, comparing to Trusova for example
Also Kamila has an insane prerotation on her 2T of the combo!

How dare a judge give Yuzu only a +3?????????
He had an open flip during the landing of the quad toe. 3 is acceptable but the 4s and 5s are reasonable too. It's just how different judges see things.
Yuzu has 6~7 quad jumps judged at 4 and 5 after GOE+5😆
I believe everything happens for a reason, if he also got undeserved +5.03 +5.19 +5.59 +5.75 GOE, 130+ TES, and most hilarious 98.50 PCS for empty jumps and crossovers, instead of 0 +1 for perfect jumps/spins/stsq/chsq... he would never become the Greatest figure skater of the Century, he would be gone & forgotten long time ago... Not Anna's blade assisted, pre-rotated quad flutz
It is not lutz. Her jump was flip mister(missis) hater
I love Sasha’s 4Lz-3T!
She is better than Kamila
Let's be honest, Anna should be nowhere near this list. (Not saying she doesn't do other things well...but quad flip/lutz, no.)
Trusova's quad lutz isn't there while Anna's inside edge, full blade triple flutz is? I don't dislike Anna, in fact I think she's a wonderfully talented and sweet girl, but you have to be joking that Sasha with her actual quad lutz is not there. She's not technically perfect either, but I don't understand how Kamila and Anna are there where Sasha is not.
Also GOE is quite biased and a high GOE doesn't mean that the jump was good, it just means that you're probably a Tutberidze-taught, female Russian skater.
that’s exactly right
OMG mister hater. Her flip is in list not her lutz. She has flip correctly and her Lutz isn't flutz. Because she has flat edge not inside 😔😔😔

Guys, you can discuss about their techniques but please don't attack the athletes
Btw I love Boyang Jin quad lutz
where is sasha?
i'm offended because the quad queen sasha is not here . ridiculous
It's because Sasha wasn't training with Eteri at this time, so unlike Kamila and Anna, she wasn't getting the 'Eteri bonus'. Sasha wasn't in this video because her quads are bad, but because the other two girls' quads are overscored.
Kamila is still simply stunning, the best ladies figure skater right now not counting Kostornaya.
He has good packaging but her skating skills are mediocre and hee jump technique is poor.

What's problem?
Actually great jumps in this video: Yuzuru, Mikhail, Yuma. Kami has great solo 4T but that combo was poor. Boyang's height on his 4Lz is out of this world and had great flow but he telegraphs it too much. Nathan's jumps are technically great as far as take offs go, but his landings aren't pretty and does too much 2-foot skating. Anna's jump - no comment - that's just a really bad take off.
Nathan's landings aren't pretty...lol. Well, at least he lands his jumps, unlike a certain supposedly _perfect_ someone else who's actually less consistent. I mean, those landings aren't very pretty either when he misses. And speaking of not being pretty...yeah, Yuzuru's floppy posture and dangly arms...not pretty at all either. Of course, great transitions though ^^
Divine Aria i agree. i honestly can’t figure out why people say his landings aren’t pretty after watching him for 3+ years because they usually look fine to me. (the exception would be at 2021 us nationals). it also is hard to watch yuzuru when he’s tired (no offense intended toward him, of course) because he’s, well, _tired_ , and it shows.
@@Mintcloud421...it's because they have nothing else to whine about. He jumps textbook jumps, his rotations are super fast and exciting, and he(more than anyone else) actually lands his jumps. The best they can do is cry about how, in their eyes, his landing doesn't look pretty enough.
@@Mintcloud421 it because of these things: 1. He lands on a stiff knee and not great knee bend. 2. His upper body leans forwards instead of staying vertical. This really helps you to keep your balance but it’s not an example of a good posture. 3. The way he brings his free leg out. It’s not very controlled and kinda sideways and kinda like a kick. 4. Most of the time very poor flow. 5. His shoulders are kinda up or hunched
@@divinearia1601 “at leats he lands his jumps” -> thats why we separate base values and goes. He prioritises staying on his feet so he shouldnt be rewarded for more than he actually does.
