This song totally blew my mind back in 1993. I had never heard anything like it before then. I like old DT, new DT, Mangini, Portnoy, Moore, Sherinian, and Rudess. They're all great musicians!! 😊

Images and Words was the first DT album I bought, back in the 90s, and it's still my favourite. I think some of the melody/song input in this period was by keyboardist Kevin Moore, and it was shame he left after the next album Awake - love his song Space-Dye Vest off that one, btw.
Jana, DT is one of my favorites as well. I just have to point out that Dream Theater was my gateway into prog. For about 2 years Dream Theater is all I listened to (outside of a few weeks when Chris Cornell passed, I had to revisit a few other things during that time). Eventually I started discovering other bands / projects because of my DT listening trends.
This is my 1st time seeing both of you together ( DREAM THEATER bought me here) it's a GREAT song from a MASTERPIECE album, its refreshing to see a female who ❤ DT, I've seen them 7 times and probably seen about a dozen females at the concerts.Ive got a song that is BEAUTIFUL, MELODIC and MAJESTIC, the band is called MOONRISE and the song is LIGHTS OF A DISTANT BAY, I KNOW both of you would love this song ❤❤❤❤❤
