You have to be a musician to understand. We like to play more than just one style. John writes all types of music. He's happy being able to play many different flavors of music. It's too bad people are so close minded . John has more talent than most of the popular bands put together.

This guy is a pure genious :) I'm so awefully tired of the "dedicated" fans that makes fun of the girls at his concert and say they don't know anything about his talent - i think you forgot what music is generally about, emotions, getting touched, etc. - and if they obviously like his music, you wouldn't pay for a concert to look at someone, when you can do that at home! You wouldn't buy cd's or dvd's if you didn't like the material, get over yourself, everyone has the right to like Mayer!
