I usually finish sketchbooks in 3 months and this current one is a really thick A4 sketchbook and it's killing me because it's been 13 months now and I still have 60 pages left :'(

My last sketchbook was my least favorite sketchbook ever, the paper was bad for everything, so I am very happy to have it gone and filled.
Yeah this sketchbook didn't have the best paper for watercolour, which is one of my favourite mediums
I like your sketchbook tours mainly because they are not filled with just finished pieces. And you style is very cute. You always inspire me to draw more from imagination but I still end up with more or less copying references 😅

Looking at your sketches and the way the pages are messy yet so beautiful made me understand how art books aren't really supposed to be "perfect" but its a place you can do whatever the hell you want without worrying about it looking "bad" and that makes a whole lot if difference in art for me

Im veeeryyy slow when it comes to sketchbooks, since I mostly work digitally.
The last one I finished was in 2019 and that one took several years. Currently I have 32 pages filled in my current sketchbook since then.
These video are very inspirational how to fill them tho! I love how you use multiple media to decorate your drawings

Lately I've been kinda down so I haven't been drawing as much, but there's mostly pencil sketches in my sketchbook, not a lot of color. Usually I use my little watercolor pan with water brushes to color because I'm lazy but I've been needing markers lately. I only have a small pack of some student markers but I hate them with passion. I want to try Ohuhus brush markers but it's hard shipping to where I live.
I just finished my sketchbook last night!! It was a pretty small sketchbook but it took me so long.

I've just finished a sketchbook too! It was meant to be multi media gouache mainly but I didnt do as much in it as I'd hoped. I've started my new one which is a large square one but has a LOT more pages than my last one so trying to start strong so I can still finish it in 12 months. Trying to finish sketchbooks yearly in November.

I think the last sketchbook I finished was around August this year? At least, I'm currently working on one that I started in August, but sometimes I work in multiple sketchbooks at once. I mostly use watercolor and paint portraits + landscapes :)

I've been trying to get back into drawing, but when I see a blank page my mind goes blank and I will make an attempt, like a page or even a small practice sketch and I won't do it again for months. I tend to overthink and get anxious over nothing, so I know it's a matter of just forcing myself to do it.

It's so fun to start to practice animals and slowly get better! I remember it being really hard at first but once you get the hang of it it's pretty fun to do :)

When you talk about pencil crayons, what kind do you mean? Do any kind of colored pencils work? Just curious bc I like the way your pages look with the dark ink and the pop of color.
In a different comment she responded that Canadians use that phrase for what Americans call colored pencils.
