I don’t know if anyone else would agree but I’d love to see a video of you doing studies like that one video where you painted flowers from life with gouache of even just like landscapes urban sketching or basic still life and chill stuff like that uwu
I actually would love that because that video is one of my favorites
I just love how she uses gouache and I think it’s an underrated medium and the only other artist that i follow that uses gouache often is James gurney

Me who has a my sketchbook since November 2019 and haven't even finished the half of it and only draws in it once every month because I like to sketch on random paper because of my perfectionism and is currently using the fact that the sketchbook is around 200 pages as an excuse: 👁️👄👁️

When I draw/doodle and I end up liking it I usually stick in in my sketchbook with some nice washi tape!
I keep several sketchbooks going at the same time, each has different size and paper, and are suitable for different things. And sometime I revisit some of my old sketchbooks, to add something there or redraw an old sketch.
I'm absolutely in love with how you draw animals, they're always so cute

I like to write down notes in my sketchbooks, about what or why did that sketch, but mostly what I disliked / liked about it to see what I want to work on

having your pups paw prints in the sketchbook is really touching and a good idea. i havent finished a sketchbook for years unless it was for uni, always forget to use them now
I took air dry clay and pressed my mothers dogs paw into it before the dog passed, it turned out very well and it went with a portrait of her. I recommend trimming the dogs toe pad hair because you can get the paws details way better.
that waterfall scene and those waterfish look so cool!! I'm currently struggling with using my sketchbook but this is definitely helping :)

Yesss rocket slime!! I havent played the games but my friend has had the exact same experience as you with that game! Even if you weren't really feeling the art in this sketchbook, there's still a lot of great ideas in there, I especially love how colorful your pages are!

I actually got the same sketchbook for my birthday in the last year, also by accident - a friend saw "art" name on the cover and ink mentioned there so they bought it but to our suprise it just can't live with watercolor, which is so sad. Im more of a mixed media dum so I really hope it won't break with gouache, at least hahah.
I've been wanting to do more art lately but school hits hard >-< I'm procrastinating on stuff so much too lol

Jel: i hate it. I hate this sketchbook. I hate the ink. I hate my hands for making this. I hate the light reflecting the images into my retinas. The very idea of ever wanting to draw this makes my eyes bleed and my soul die a thousand deaths
