    1. The hackrf board is removable if you pull it gently. This way it will be much easier to install the plug.
    2. Don't use the metallic tweezers to plug the battery, you can easily short it. Better not to even touch that plug.
    3. You don't have to disassemble the front part, just remove the back plate.
Otherwise, it's a useful video. Thanks for the link.

I did the procedure in the video and the battery connector is very difficult to reinstall. Now my HackRF does not seem to be working. One blue LED in the knob is constantly On when the microUSB is plugged in, but the screen is not displaying. I thought that the LED would flash if the battery was charging. Any suggestions on what is wrong?

For some reason, YT never notified me about this message! Weird! Better late than never: I'd say remove the HackRF from the case. Disconnect the battery and gently pull the boards apart. There should be a video on YT how to do it if you want to see how it's done. Then reattach the boards and use a microUSB cable to check if your HackRF powers up. I assume it should work without the battery. It could also be that the battery connector is not fully seated. Also check: github.com/portapack-mayhem/mayhem-firmware/wiki/Won't-boot

    Cool video thanks.
Where'd you get the black 40mhz-6ghz telescopic antenna?

Thank you! :) It's the ANT500 telescopic antenna which usually comes with the Great Scott Gadgets HackRF One. I got it from Amazon: www.amazon.com/ANT500-Telescopic-Antenna-HackRF-Stick/dp/B01CQYZJV2
