      Did you see the 60 minute Australian documentary where they showed that the Clearwater Police Department vehicles were stalking journalists on behalf of Scientology. When I saw that episode air I paused the video and called the Clearwater Police Department to report the vehicle ever since then I have been unable to find the vehicle and I feel like they took the video down because I reported it to the Clearwater Police Department which is corrupted

    I'm from St. Pete myself, and I made it a point to never venture into Clearwater due to scientology being so prevalent there. I'm ashamed of the Clearwater P.D. for basically doing as little as possible, if not actively covering up crimes of scientologists, one coming to mind was a supposed suicide of the son of a member of the church in Clearwater. the son was clinically depressed and was prescribed antidepressants and the church told the father to convert him to scientology in order to cure his depression and to get rid of his meds that a psychiatrist prescribed because all drugs are bad and all psychiatrists are evil, which the father did by hiding his meds in the trunk of his car. The cops found the hidden prescription after investigating the "suicide," of the son, who was found shot in the father's apartment, and before calling 911, the dad called a church representative first. Then when questioning the dad, cops allowed her to be present and take an active role in the questioning. they claimed that they couldn't find the through and through bullet in the small apartment, they didn't do a gun power residue test on the son, they didn't hold the father responsible for stealing and hiding his son's medication when he was ordered by the church to do so prior to the son's death, they were very incorporative with the mother (not a member of the church) when she was inquiring on her son's suicide case and was asking if certain tests were performed, such as the gun residue test, because she didn't believe it was an open and shut case of suicide, and the police were giving her the run around and refusing to answer legitimate questions from a grieving mother who had every right to inquire about the suicide of her son, and despite the delayed call to 911 by the father, who opted to call a P.R. member of the church first and after having hid his son's antidepressants in the trunk of his car prior to his suicide, leaving his son's depression to go into over drive from being abruptly cut off from the meds he had been taking to control his depression, which was most likely the key factor that led him to take his own life, if in fact it was a clear cut suicide, the police didn't investigate further, closing the case as soon as possible and had basically shut down any and all inquiries made by the mother. The police station is a stone's throw away from Flag base, a.k.a. the main headquarters for the church of scientology, and the church is constantly doing fundraisers and donating to the P.D. and city of Clearwater, which in turn gets the church favors, if you will, from police and the city. And that suicide case is but one of many and it's appalling. I'm glad I moved out of Pinellas county, far away from the mecca of scientology and the corrupt city in which it resides.

Harrison hotel multiple times daily...there is almost always a uniformed Clearwater police officer (not moonlighting-active duty) who has his/her cruiser parked in front of Flag, & the officer is standing at the front door to the hotel, 9/10 times they are standing there shooting the shit w/ scientologists...is this to curtail protesters?...is it to protect protesters from scientologists' physical backlash? what are these officers standing guard for? our tax dollars are spent protecting scientologists/& their properties (when nothing "criminal" is necessarily happening)? there must be a valid reason they are posted there, right???please some1 tell me what that valid reason is... cuz i can't figure it out...

    Hire the local PD for off duty security and pay well. Over time, the individual police become accustomed to that legal extra cash and adjust their personal budgets accordingly. Eventually the police, individually and collectively come to regard you as a benefactor to be protected. This is how an entire police department can be co-opted by a well-funded organization.

They have tons of busses that drive back and forth all day and night. On my son's life, my brother and I drove by the main building downtown Clearwater and there was a guy in a full suit on a ladder trimming a tree. I have a very serious question, I spent two days reading and watching a bunch of videos...How can Scientology be considered a religion? At most it's a really bad self help group...any 12 step organization would help more with folks who have drugs, sex, alcohol issues - an AA meeting cost a buck, AA has helped me be a much better man, now I help others, it wasn't just about Alcohol, the booze was a mask for deeper issues..Scientology charges thousands... - on and on. PLEASE, someone give me a reason how it's a religion?

    • @garygraham4679
      @garygraham4679 11 лет назад

      Please engage brain before typing. Where do you think religion comes from there Cali? The one, true, and only God? And how did he disseminate this religion to the Christians, Jews, and Muslims- burning bushes, golden tablets, whatever. No doubt he told them all, " Ok, you guys got the real deal, the others not so much". Religion has always been man's invention. What better way to enforce compliance then to claim "God did it". LRH discovered principals of a spiritual nature so it has as much right as any other philosophy to use the word religion.

    • @futureworks6116
      @futureworks6116 11 лет назад +2

      "Cali ?" I'm from Pittsburgh... Most religions have a central theme, someone or something to worship, seems with Scientology (as in it's name) it's more based on getting your mind together, buying self help books and getting audited. I read that these guys at Scientology spent millions in bribes and blackmail to get this "Organization" tax exempt status as a Religion. In other countries they have been shot down to be considered a religion, which truly makes sense to me. Hubbard himself stated early on that a great why to makes lots of money was to start a religion. I agree with much of what you stated but feel that this Business that is hidden behind a religious cloak / status has caused much more harm than good. You leave them and they make your life miserable, the Catholic religion doesn't try to ruin you when you leave. Also, who holds David Miscovic accountable? From the reports and stories I've read - it you disagree with this little punk your off to bad person camp...sorry, religion...not so much !!!

    Wow! Note to self: when vacationing in Florida stay ``Clear`` of Clearwater especially because the police have been payrolled by the Scientologists and you are not safe or protected :( reminds me of the movies Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

    Video recordings, are for the most part legal, with or without consent from the recorded party as long as you aren't invading their privacy. Recording audio is a bit more complicated. When it comes to law enforcement, it is your right to record to them. You just can't wiretap them without consent. Now the guy who hit them with a hammer committed assault with a deadly weapon. That is a felony. Even him damaging their equipment is illegal.

    I took a class under a very experienced attorney in Florida, and he said that while it IS illegal to solely record audio without consent, it's NOT illegal if that audio is part of a video recording. It's weird, but Florida statutes allow video cameras to capture video and audio without permission, but they don't allow someone to use an "audio-only recording device" without permission. This, of course, only applies to Florida (where Clearwater is).

      No. The daily security jobs ended in 2001. they still occasionally hire officers for events for traffic control as do other organizations in the city.

    I would like to know why the FBI has not investigated the Clearwater Police Department for civil rights violations. This is completely outrageous in a free country. It's time for the federal government to step in and put a stop this.

    The Florida state police and attorney general's office needs to know about this.
    They need to take over the police and local district attorney and fire everyone who is a member or employee of Scientology.

    This is the most shocking evidence I've seen against Scientology yet. Conflict of interest doesn't even come close; this is corruption. Someone should shut down Clearwater Police and clean it out. Those Police Officers should be behind bars: whatever happened to "To Protect and To Serve"?

    I like to imagine, at around 15:34, ramming into him as hard as I can, sending him backwards down the stairs. Every single time. I guess I'll know I no longer have any anger issues what I can watch this without feeling like that.

    The officer replied that audio recording somebody without their permission is a felony ?? That's a blatant lie that law enforcement has been using for yeeeeeeeeeeeeears. That and ... " You can't photograph or video somebody without their consent ". Bullshit !!! In all 3 cases, you can. The only exceptions is if a audiographer, photographer, or videographer is working commercially ( sponsored ). In those cases, a person(s) must first give permission and once permission is granted the person(s) will either just waive any type of compensation or they will be compensated ... depending upon the agreement. Now, there is an exception to audio recording a person(s) ... That's recording telephone calls without a person(s) consent, which is considered wiretapping. Now THAT !!! will get you a felony charge.

    This is exactly, how it works in GERMANY too. The employees of the US comany CONSTELLIS in some nice "Police Uniforms" participate in criminal actions, such as child trafficking and putting the parents into "psychiatric hospitals". It is also the same in Switzerland, in Austria, in UK and mostly all over the world.
