Most affordable 12 strings are not good guitars. The often play bad and or sound bad. Poor tuners poor intonation and on it goes . The 150e plays and sounds wonderful. It sounds like a $3000 Guitar.

Guitar Center recently had a sale on these with a hundred bucks off and I had only two weeks earlier purchased a Taylor 214ce Deluxe. That was the only reason I didn't buy that 12 string when I was at the shop, and it would have been a spontaneous buy but now, I'm kind of kicking myself in the ass for not buying it when it was on sale. Next time!

I dont think so. Its louder but the Martin is not shrill..which I found with this. So I went for Martin.

Pickup sounds like the vast majority of pickups. Awful.

I was thinking just that. I was planning on buying this guitar on Monday but that pickup sounds brutal... I wonder if it was just a matter of adjusting the EQ settings differently. All the brightness from the guitar was totally flattened.
